“(Last visited 3/13/2023.) Hanging out in town on business and this area is where I've spent 18 years of my life so I was meeting up with my mans for dinner to catch up. He suggested this place because he's been here before, but coincidentally, I already had this place bookmarked because I saw some brunch pictures from another friend of mine! So here's what I think of it! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is so amazing. It feels like a grown & sexy lounge with upbeat remixes of various songs. This place also has quite a bit of a footprint. So once in the front door you have the beautiful bar area. Then if you make your way to the left you have more of a lounge-like area, then if you continue on you enter the main dining room which is FULL OF GLASS. There's so much natural daylight that comes in through here that it helps keep you warm in the winter and in the summer months, the glass windows slide over to create a great cross-breeze. It just FEELS GOOD in here. It exudes class, style and like... a place where professionals hang out. Service: Classie took care of us and she was just perfect. She was down for my banter, put up with me, made excellent recommendations and really just added to the entire experience. I'll certainly be asking for her when I make a return visit. Food: I started off with their Gin & Juice cocktail which was light, refreshing and after I got to the bottom of the glass, I discovered it was surprisingly strong. Lol. As an appetizer we started off with the "Dip & Chips". This dish is comprised of hand cut, hand made kettle cooked chips dusted with an onion powder served along side a creamy dip made up of caramelized onions, mascarpone, many other seasonings and then blanketed with tiny chives. This was delicious. The chips were thick, crunchy and flavorful. The dip itself was creamy, hearty and reminded me of a French onion soup, but in a dip. Fabulous. Next up was the Bigeye Tuna. This is a dish comprised of tiny sushi-grade chunks of seasoned tuna served on a bed of crispy rice that's stuffed with a nori mayo. This was delicious. The tuna was fresh and flavorful. The crispy rice with the mayo inside added a bit of a creamy, rounded, garlicy, oniony, flavor to the dish. It was excellent. Next up were the Wontons. These are comprised of dry-aged beef, fois gras, miso, mustard and scallions. This dish was a little underwhelming for me. It was delicious, don't get me wrong, but I believe the mustard was a little too strong. The wonton crust was crispy, flaky and held all of the ingredients, but didn't shine enough. The fois gras flavor was also very, very light and it seemed like it was more-so used in the sauce to make it thicker/creamier. Next up was the Crab & Avocado. It's nothing like what you think is going to come out. Lol. So in a bowl you get shredded crab (the real stuff), shredded cucumber, shredded kosher dill all served over a bed of avocados then topped with Tobiko fish roe. This was amazing. It's not served hot, but it's not cold either. It's like somewhere in between and I think it was perfect. If it were too cold the flavors would've been damped and if it was too warm then the vegetables would've lost their crisp texture. In addition to that crispiness from the veggies you get the creaminess from the crab and avocado. The sauce it's tossed in pulls it all together. This was one of my favorite dishes of the evening. Don't forget to eat it with the chopsticks! Finally, for my entrée I had Classie choose a dish for me because I simply couldn't make up my mind. Out came the Lobster & Caviar. This dish is a small pasta with HUGE pieces of tender lobster tossed in fettuccine noodles mixed in with a cognac cream sauce. For a finishing touch you have some deliciously salty caviar on top. This was excellent and I've never had anything like it before. I highly recommend THIS to be your dinner. Value: If you haven't guessed by now, this is a place where you have to pay to pl“
