The burger, chicken sandwich and the newly added steak sandwich are all top notch. Order at the bar a find a spot indoors or out. This place is a great addition to the Foster-Powell neighborhood.“

“where to start, we are big good truck goers. A family of 5. makes it great when everyone can get what they want. This place is beautiful, they had a handful of trucks (more coming) but the options were definitely a mix. Something for everyone for sure. The Cuban food truck is a 10/10 highly recommend! The Cuban sandwich was the best sandwich ive had in a long time. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. My husband and kids had burgers, corn dogs, and chicken strips. The burgers were huge. super great flavor, (adding lamb burgers to the menu soon) super excited to come back to try those. Lets talk drinks, I like a good spicy cocktail, however most "full bars" offer Tabasco to spice up my drink. I hate that. I prefer a spicy tequila or a muddled jalepeno. This place has bitters. This was hands down the best spicy margarita (the house margarita with spicy bitters) that I have had since I've been out here. They have have a changing station in the bathroom. a pinball room, and a kids toys section. For families like us, little kids, picky eater, the FULL bar. This is by far the best food truck place we have went to.“

Our bartender was very friendly and was happy to tell me about areas in Portland when I told him my husband and I would be moving to Portland. “Solid four star experience. Went in the middle of the day for a burger and wasn't disappointed. Burger was presented nicely, had a nice taste, bun was good, fresh fixings, and melted cheese.

Also got their fried pickle spears. Those were damn good.

Bartender was attentive, friendly, and did her job just fine.

I did enjoy the ambiance and will return to play some pinball and shuffleboard.“

“Have only been blessed with food from here twice, recently with some tomato soup and bread someone dropped off at camp which was really good and about 5 or 6 years ago one of the ladies there hooked me up with an elk burger that was incredible. Parking: Can be a little tricky as the parking for most businesses in the area is side street parallel. There's a large lot next door for McDonald's but they've been known to tow people, part of the lot is out in front of over and out but I'm not sure if that's McDonald's as well. There is a lot at 81st and Washington at Milwaukee lumber where it's ok to park after 5pm up to around 630am and one across 81st at atc autobody but watch for broken glass in that one esp near Dumpsters“

“Drove in for lunch and was so pleased we found this place. The best clam chowder we ever had. Decided to get a take out of the clam chowder ...sooo good. The Friday special 2pcs of fish and fries. Also delicious. My husband ordered Tuna Melt, and he confirmed it was good. I hope this is my first go-to place for lunch. Please keep it up, and we will be back for more....“

“My wife and I love that we have a neighborhood bar with wonderful and well crafted cocktails, solid food menu, and excellent, skilled service.
On a summer night we went and tried 6 different cocktails of their cocktails and each one was more impressive than the last. They regularly rotate their drink menu, demonstrating their skill and diversity in making a good drink! Would recommend, will return!“

Came here with a large group of girls and there was plenty of seating both inside and outdoors. The furniture and little accessories added the perfect touch of comfort. There were literally grape vines all round the patio and we got to slice up our pizza with scissors! Anyway, well worth your money for the quality and quantity!“

Under new management, and now called the Mini Bar. This place was a perfect replacement. Everyone is very friendly and personal. You can feel the warm energy as soon as you walk into the space. The feeling under the lights making the atmosphere feel like photo development room. I truly enjoyed it. Also the homemade romesco is so delicious, let it be first thing you order!

My favorite thing is the homemade Jell-O shots, they are so fun and in a real orange 🍊“

“The food is really good and everything is well priced, but the service is non-existent. The one female bartender seemed irritated with us when we walked in. We sat at a table and ordered the food from the QR code. We also got our own water which I'm fine with. But other than bringing over the one n/a drink I ordered, neither bartender checked on us or asked how our food was. We got two salads and two sandwiches so plenty of time to check on us. The only interaction we had was with the male bartender who waa much nicer and brought our sandwiches, but still never checked in. When you close your check on your phone it defaults to 25%. For what? Why would I leave 25% for someone who didn't even speak with me and when Imt doing pretty much half the work myself? 25% is a full service restaurant gratuity and honestly If they interacted with us even a little bit I would have been fine with that. The kitchen staff brought our first food round out and they were very nice. We came in on a Friday night and it was pretty empty, (us at a table and a couple people at the bar), so it is not like they were too busy to engage. I have been here once before and it was a much better experience so not writing this place off, but tonights experience was sub par. Food was bomb though.“

“My hubby and I randomly stopped in yesterday after the food show. I’ve lived in OR for 17 years and he’s lived here his entire life. I’ve never done Portland as I moved from a big city and we live in Idanaha. My anxiety was on extreme when we arrived. (I was trying Portland for the first time). Between the food show and getting to the hotel, found Thunderbird. It was exactly what we needed. A decent place, great service. I seriously considered buying a piece of art displayed. Next time for sure! Loved the plants and vibe. We will be returning. Next time I’ll try the food (we were stuffed yesterday).“
