“My wife and I recently shared the evening of our 29th Wedding anniversary at the Side Door. While we always enjoy our visits, this night was even more special. The ambiance at the Side Door is quite exceptional ; it always has been but, like everything here, it just keeps getting better. Warm, soft lighting, high ceiling with lazily turning ceiling fans, earth tone colors, fireplace with soft leather couches, good background jazz, and booths for those who wish them. The menu is probably the best on the Coast. While so many restaurants have downsized their menus, and failed to even adequately service them, Brook has maintained a sizable array of offerings that the kitchen unfailingly puts out in a consistent and timely fashion. I had the rack of lamb, which I've ordered four of the last six or seven times we've been in (not commonly offered otherwise, in our area). It was superb; it's a full rack served as four double chops, on a bed of vegetable risotto the like of which neither we've never found elsewhere. With the addition of grilled broccolini, the meal was complete, and absolutely wonderful. My wife's 16oz New York steak with grilled prawns was equally good (we exchanged portions). We had not tried the Coconut Creme Pie before (said to be Jeremy's favorite) but oh my god is it good. It's a must try. If you haven't been to the Side Door, you won't regret going. Price points for everyone.“

“We stayed at the Salishan Resort in September 2024 for two nights and enjoyed several meals from the Attic. The food, presentation, and service were exceptional (salads, bowls, and breakfast were especially amazing and I loved the fresh ingredients). A special thank you to the hostess at the Attic – I believe her name is Anna (spelling?). She kept me company at the bar while I was waiting for a takeout dinner order, she has a sweet spirit and lovely energy. If possible, please pass on my gratitude to the chefs and Anna.“

“This is one of our favorite places to eat on the coast because of the combination of good food and good view. You can get a good view from almost anywhere in the restaurant. This visit the food wasn’t quite as good as we remembered however. Also, we had two little kids and wanted a high chair and booster and they asked if a booth was okay which it was, but we didn’t understand it was a high booth so the baby also had to use a booster seat and is really too little for it so my husband had to kind of hold him in the whole time so a little more distracting from the meal than we would have liked. Otherwise it was great :)

Kid-friendliness: If you want a high chair and they mention a booth, be sure to specify if it’s a regular or high top booth.“

“This is an old restaurant that's been converted into a Mexican/ taco truck style restaurant. The food was very good. The service was good, people were very friendly. Building itself was very hot the sun comes through their windows badly and the bathrooms was like an ice skating rink could definitely use some work in the building. “I am not exaggerating when I say, this is THE BEST sushi I have ever had. They don't allow customizations, and that's for a good reason, their sushi is perfect as is. If you aren't scared of seaweed salad or raw fish, get the Yatai roll, if you do have an aversion to that sort of stuff, they have a beautifully wide variety of amazing dishes to choose from, cost is absolutely fair at ≈$15 per roll, try and catch them when they are open and you will be hooked at the first delectable bite.“

Karen’s/middle aged women that have never vacayed in an authentic West Coast Beach town and have grown accustomed to their valley/suburban lifestyles. Sounds like they don’t know how to order a pizza or handle ordering food in public.

Fantastic/simple desserts. Perfectly made every-time. Order the BBQ chicken pizza and their cheesecake. You won’t be sorry.

“Snug Harbor is a local Treasure! We visited today for a late lunch and cocktails. Our bartender and server was Susie. She is so sweet and kind and funny! Club sandwich and garden salad were delicious. Cocktails were on point. Service was quick and considerate. Wewill definitely be back“

This is a perfect ocean-town fish and chips "hut" so don't go in thinking a sit down restaurant.

We have been coming here since they opened and we saw the fisherman loading fresh fish into the back door. It has kept its quality high, even during the time of price gouging by corporations.

Pros: crust is AMAZING, we are done with the beer batter/tempura type breading because it is usually thick and greasy and it seems like they are trying to hide small pieces of fish in the batter. Quality of the fish is high! Never greasy. Coleslaw is good old fashioned creamy slaw, we enjoy it. Chowder has had a few incarnations, today's was a thinner, creamy type. I like that style but my husband enjoys a bit thicker. It's tasty but sadly I didn't even get one clam. ?

Cons: Fries are frozen not fresh cut, but we enjoy this type if they *have* to be frozen. Starter sauce is a bit tangy, feels like it might be purchased not homemade(?)“

“The service was exceptional from every staff member who interacted with us. Two of us ordered the prime rib, and one had the filet mignon. The meat was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The seasonal vegetables were a delightful mix of high-quality produce, cooked to perfection. The baked potatoes were also done just right.

The only critique is that the seating area, while comfortable, was rather plain. However, the stunning view of the ocean more than made up for it. We will definitely return if we're ever back in Lincoln City.“
