Then there’s the roasted potatoes — and listen, I know they’re a side dish, but TokTok treats them like the main character. Perfectly golden, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and bursting with flavor. I dream about these potatoes.

“We drove in for the blazers game and had to make a few pit stops in this area. We were so hungry and didn’t know what to eat but let me tell you, all three of us. (My husband, daughter and I) were so happy to have tried this place. They took their time making our plates to perfection. The flavor, size and everything just amazing. “First-timers today. We ordered the Big Lamb Gyro, dolmas and french fries, and are very happy to recommend this place. Portions were large and the food was extremely fresh, but the thing that impressed me and raises Omar’s versions above other similar places was his seasoning. Subtle, not overpowering, but distinctive. Dolmas touched with just enough lemon, gyros well-balanced with tzatziki, hot sauce and some other flavors I couldn’t quite identify, subtle flavoring of the lamb. I was prepared for a pretty standard, ho-hum gyro, but this was much more. Worth a return trip.“

“Delicious. Syrian/Lebanese - the flavors were smoother/softer than I’m used to. The pita was soft, closer to a fluffy flour tortilla, and the sandwiches we had that came in a pita were actually wrapped in a trifolded pita and pressed like a panini. The felafel were big and delicious. The baklava was in a orange blossom syrup and was perfect. The service was personable and on point. It’s on an active block of N Williams, so it’s a fun area to walk around before/after. Highly recommended.“

The gentleman that took my order was a dick. I started by saying hello, only to be stared back at… ordered, to only be told my total… order ready, picked it up and said thank you, response was to have back turned to me as he walked away.. “OK, seriously , Massud and his menu are freaking awesome!!! If you have food, allergies that include corn, wheat sugar, his food is legit safe… He has transparency of his ingredients. For instance, when I asked him what was in his meat, he creates his own Kafka himself by hand, and he showed me all of the spices that go into it and assured me that it was Safe for my body. His ingredients are fresh and what I would consider to be a grade so if you have Food sensitivities like I do and you just want some variation beyond a salad… give PDX kebab a try. The most delicious lunch I’ve had in a long time. I had his beef Kafka and it was dynamite.“

So, I started looking for gyros near me. Now, since he's never tried one, I didn't want him to have a bad first experience that would put him off of them forever since I enjoy them so much. I chose this establishment based on very high google reviews (5 stars) and because it's so close to where we live (5 mins). This place has gone beyond expectations! The food is amazing! Perfect blend of delicious spices and ingredients. HUGE amount of food. It was so delicious that I scarfed it down so fast I got sauce up my nose. I'm so happy that we found this little gem. “Don’t miss this yummy cart in the back corner! If you like a lot of sauces, this is your place. I got the lamb plate and it came with hummus, tzaziki and two other sauces. They have gluten free pita too. It was a lot of food too. And there’s some tables to eat at.
