“Always friendly and helpful staff who offer A+ service every time I walk in. No icky deep fat fryer smells like I often experience at some of the other local convenience stores. Quality beverage selections for all ages and a good mix of ready to serve hot foods that are surprisingly edible considering it is convenience store food. No, it is not fine dining but comparatively speaking it is the equal of the limited local fast food options. Like most locals I miss Circle K but the new store retained most, if not all of the previous staff which was very important to me seeing all the familiar faces. The failing equipment needed to be replaced and the new equipment is nice to use and so far I have had zero issues with it. Add in the new customer points program which gives one a price reduction and or an occasional free item so overall I am happy with the experience that 7-11 offers.“
“The manager- I believe his name was Tony-was super sweet and I had a great experience passing through here today. It’s really strange walking into a place where you can just order on computers, but I guess we are living in the FUTURE, after all. Thanks for the ranch, too!“
“This is far and away my favorite small business… no, favorite business of ANY kind in Salem. The first time I came it was magical and every visit since has been also. I’ve been about 10 times total and now I make sure to come at least once a week or more. They’re kind and helpful and so lovely. Every single thing we’ve tried on the menu is brilliant. The atmosphere is calm, well decorated, clean, and authentic. I love the little fidget toys and lovely books to look at while we wait (but they are fast!). The quality of the tea, boba, and beverages in general is absolutely stunning. I might be something of a tea snob too tbh? Given our other boba choices in Salem, well, let’s just say this one is superior (to my fam and I) in a big way. This is coming from someone who spends a lot of time in Portland, Corvallis, and Eugene also, so I’ve had my fair share of teas and boba. I will do everything in my power to help this family stay in business for the long-haul. I am an absolute fan for life now. All I can say is everything about the shop is perfect and fills me with joy. I hope they will make shirts, beanie, &/or hats so that I can wear them and tell people about this brilliant little tea shop in our city.Vegetarian options: Milk options for vegans too!Dietary restrictions: We have vegan and vegetarians in our family and everyone finds something delicious on this menu.“
“I have been several times now and it's good every time. I was particularly impressed this last time when my smoothie made was obviously not all the way full and he asked the gal to fill it before serving. (I didn't say anything) that just shows that they want to put the best product out to customers. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: Kid drinks! And goodies!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp“
“Java Crew makes the best-tasting variety of coffees. I used to go to other coffee places (thought they were all the same) and didn't care for them (bitterness and not giving what I ordered). Now, I ONLY go to Java Crew! The staff is amazing by being friendly, kind and remembering me and my husband. We experienced all of this through a drive-up window! Thank youKid-friendliness: I sometimes take my granddaughter to get coffee(or for her chocolate not to be too hot). She loves going with me! Also, I take my dogs and they can get a small sample cup with whipping cream. They love it! They only get it as a reward once in awhile.Dietary restrictions: I'm asked if I need nonfat or sugar-free or both.“
“It’s super cute, but I think it needs something more along the back left wall behind the counter, and maybe the wall above the main door. I’ve done several murals for business up in Portland and have some ideas if you’d like to talk! Coffee was delicious, the amount of people in there also proves it to be a great spot for people to be social and make friends!“
“My top favorite cup of coffee in Salem, OR. Urban Grange has been a retreat for me, during my darkest of days. I appreciate the staff & their willingness to let their customers settle in, enjoy their coffee and just be, without feeling rushed. I’ve spent many of hours enjoying the ambiance of Urban Grange~reading, journaling, business gatherings, or just gathering with friends/family. Support small, it’s the way to go! Oh, and by the way-Their cheddar bacon scones, the vegetable crustless quiche + their oat milk lattes = PERFECTION!“
