“Everyday is a Donut Day is near and dear to my heart. I have been a customer for more years than I can count. I am also what you would call a "regular." I typically go once a week or so. My favorites are the pineapple + raspberry fritters followed by the glazed twists, but I don't think I've ever had a donut at Donut Day that I don't like. It's a weekly tradition to pop over and grab a donut or a box of donuts!!!! If you haven't been here, go give it a chance. You won't be disappointed!“
“Been coming here since they were a food cart and it remains an absolute favorite. I always know when too many weeks have passed between visits, because I start getting irrationally cranky. The Oy Gevalt! is the best meal in town. I can't describe the perfection of the latke/smoked salmon/egg/dill sauce. You can't go wrong with any of the other options either.“
“Went really early in the morning for the breakfast burritos and sandwiches, and was super impressed with both. Generous size and good quality especially considering the price. Donuts were FRESH! Especially recommend the cake style donuts and the apple fritter. Also always nice to go somewhere staffed by the owners, who were very friendly and obviously put a lot of love into what they do.“
“Stopped by at 6:45am to pick up a box of "thank you" donuts, and it was a great start to my day. The owner was warm and cheerful, and with so many beautiful donuts, it was difficult to choose! The donuts tasted amazing; the texture of my raised donut was perfection. Next time I'll try the apple fritter (which folks say is the best anywhere). Definitely worth the drive from Lake Oswego.“
“Been coming here for years and the donuts are always amazing! I love all the vegan donut choices on Saturdays, it’s so nice to have vegan donuts available outside of Portland. The employees are always really nice and they often throw in an extra donut or donut holes. Seems to be a family run business and I love to support them!“
“Want and got some donuts at Coco Donuts Uptown ? ?. I got the cinema rolled donut and the Apple fritter donut($3.25 ea). I didn't get anything to drink. Because I was in a hurry and I just wanted some donuts real fast, but the smell of the coffee was really tempting. If you don't drink coffee, there are other options such as different varieties of tea and hot chocolates. The prices are quite reasonable, nothing is more over ($6.50).The packaging is super cute, too. That atmosphere at the shop is quite relaxing. There's no harsh music playing. And it is quite calming in the morning.Service there was fine, no problems with the employee and everything was fast and easy.Vegetarian options: Nothing here contains meat, so it is safe for consumption for vegetarians.Parking: There is not really a parking lot for you to park your car there. It is at a corner of the street. So I would suggest that you just walk here or you find a parking spot somewhere near and walk to the shop.Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly because kids love donuts.Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps on the sidewalk that lead up to the shop. But it would probably be difficult for someone in a wheelchair to get there.“
“I absolutely love this place! The owners, who make the donuts and work the cash register, are so welcoming and get to know their regulars. The donuts are made fresh EVERY day, and they actually close early if they sell out (so you know they’re good!). Honestly the best donuts around and I am always craving them!“
“The old owner is back and the donuts are as great as ever. Glad to see Mr. Kim back behind the counter making donuts for his beloved customers. My favorite is the chocolate old-fashioned. Good fresh coffee too.Kid-friendliness: Always gives extra donut holes for the kids!“
“Flagship location and easy parking. These doughnuts are serious. Perfectly described as adult doughnuts! Very complex flavors with old school styles like old fashioned. Want a unique dozen doughnuts to impress the office staff or treat your favorite nurses? I suggest these over all others.“
“Peruvian mocha was delicious but my friend spilled hers (party foul) and the garlic bagel was borderline inspiring when I needed it to be so and the apple fritter was Extra in both size and flavor but they have normal chairs instead of fancy “
“Their chai and their mini donuts are delicious!!My roommate turned me on to this place recently. We made the walk from the Beaverton Central max to Pips to grab some donuts and chai. It was hopping, but they were still pretty quick, and we were able to find a table to sit at and enjoy some of the goodies. They call your name over a speaker, so it's easy to hear. I think my favorites so far are the donuts with bacon jam and the Ginger Roger's chai. Sorry I didn't get any photos. I devoured everything.#obsessedwithbaconjamUpdate: They had a fantastic special flavor, Passionfruit Rose for Valentines Day, and they were delicious!“
“Amazing assortment of donut flavours. I suggest coming by early so you’re able to grab your desired flavour, I went around noon and one of the flavours was already sold out! Of the ones I did get, they were all amazing and had really distinct flavour profiles. You really cannot go wrong with any of their options.“
“We were on a little road trip and my son wanted donuts. I am so glad we found this place. The donuts were not only awesome but the experience was even better. I have a toddler, who is a handful, and a 1 year old. The gentleman behind the counter was so nice and polite to me and my kids that we decided to eat there. The place is nice and clean. On top of that, we made mention that it was our littlest ones first donut and he gave her one on the house! It was a super cute pink sparkle donut that made her day and ours too. 4 people walked in and 4 smiling faces walked out. It’s over 30 min from our house but we will definitely be making a trip back soon. The Donuts were FIRE ?!!!!“
“It will call you by name when it is done and even make coffee art. The pressure is off to leave a tip. The time between the shot of coffee and the steamed milk is about one minute. People will tell you that need to happen in less than 15 seconds, but honestly, I can't taste the “
“The staff was overly amazing. We knew what we wanted walking in. The kids got excited and thought about changing their mind- the person helping us with the super cool tat was chill and didn't feel pressured to hurry up.Kid-friendliness: The kids LOVED it. If they can read be prepared.“
“You've got to try their jalapeno cheese beef hot dogs. Those or something special right there and the donuts are awesome too and they wait. Staff is excellent. Those two guys did a great job for a couple of young fellas. I would give them a ? and they should get a “
“Sesame Donuts was founded in 1987 by an immigrant from Sierra Leone and is one of the Portland area’s oldest donut chains. They’ve been around longer than Blue Star, Coco, Pip’s, Doe and a most other local donut chains. Sesame has almost been around as long as Voodoo Donut. Currently they have 10 mostly suburban locations with a few in the city.Got two each of Oreo, M&M Yum, Sid’s Special, Lemoncello, Toasted Coconut and Portland Cream“
“This is my new favorite blue star location. The inside is so charming and the staff were so incredibly friendly! My wife and I came here on a morning date to get donuts and coffee and they were both delicious. Blue Star Donuts are the best donuts around, and for me personally, they have produced the best donuts I have ever had. This location is also next to some other fun shops, so it's perfect for meeting friends or dates! Highly recommend this location and giving BSD a try! You won't be disappointed!“
“Love this place! They always have a wide variety of cake donuts on hand, which are far superior to regular donuts (I will die on this hill). I only wish they were open on weekends since that's when I work downtown! I'd be there every Saturday and Sunday.“
“Owners an absolute gentlemen, donuts are excellent, love the apple fritters! Only one that’s a hit or miss is the cinnamon rolls. They use dense dough, and if it’s rolled too tight or too thick it doesn’t quite get cooked all the way and is like eating dough. I’d suggest to them to make them flatter, like the apple fritters, and those will be absolutely perfect everytime!“
