“This won best donut in Portland for a reason. It is my fav donut place in the US honestly. Cannot emphasize enough how amazing this place is and how high quality the donuts are. What makes it even better is the joy Penny and Boun exude. Family-owned, but Delicious Donuts makes you feel like part of their family too! “The only powdered chocolate cream donuts anywhere in town (and I've checked), just the way Winchell's used to make them: absolute perfection! The other donuts are incredible, too, but the powdered with the poof of chocolate icing is my go-to 4 LIFE! When my husband and I journey 25+ miles to a Sesame Donuts and our box of donuts is in our car, I may spontaneously serenade my donuts. They're THAT GOOD! 🎵 "Oooh, chocolate poopers, you are the best donut in the world!" 🎵 😄“

“The whole interaction was weird. I bought donuts and asked if I could buy an extra box to wrap a gift in (donut blanket). The lady working laughed and said no, in that tone that means why would you even ask that. I thought she was joking and kinda laughed and she laughed again and said her boss doesn’t allow her to do that and I just said ok, and then she laughed AGAIN and said no. Ok I got it. No box. I’ll go to Krispy Kreme and get a box from them. Still tipped because the donuts are bomb but maybe ask your employee why she is laughing at customers requesting a simple thing. I’ll stick to sesame donuts by the airport where I know the employees are nice.“

“Early on a drizzly morning, I was greeted kindly with superb service. The shop has a cute old school donut shop vibe, complete with helpful staff.
Now on to the donuts! The chew of the raised donuts is nearly perfect. The dough is light, not cloyingly sweet and with the slight chew you're looking for in a good raised donut. I highly recommend their filled donuts. Also, the chocolate glaze was decadent again with that alright balace of sweet. Now on to my favorite, the sesame donut is a must. A plain cake donut with a light glaze dipped in toasted sesame seeds! This mildly sweet donut is perfection. I'll be thinking about it until I get it next!

“I really love Sesame Donuts in Sherwood. They have very tasty donuts and a large selection made fresh daily. I've only tried their donuts, hot cocoa, and coffee, but everything has been delicious! The ladies there are always friendly, kind, and provide excellent customer service. I wish the owner would bring back caramel apple donuts to the Sherwood location. It's one of my favorites!“

“The staff at this location are amazing. A lost child came in and was not able to communicate how to contact his parents. The staff did everything right to make sure that the child stayed safe and was reunited with his family. Thank you for all you did today.“

“I pass by here all the time but decided to try it today. I got coffee with boba and a donut and it was $10. Their donut flavors are super interesting, I got Reese's cheesecake and it was great. I like that the donut wasn't iced AND frosted so it wasn't too sweet, the perfect amount of chewy.
I see some reviews about the service but the guy at the counter was polite and prompt, no complaints at all. They also have Korean style corn dogs I want to try next time, I'll definitely be back!“

“I love the variety of flavors they have. My mom and I have gone multiple times (sometimes in the same week! ) and had a chance to talk to the owners and a couple of the baristas, all of which were very friendly and love to offer suggestions of flavor combos (that is, if you can't pick from the fun flavors they come up with every month). I also love that they offer a dark and light roast coffee and you can still actually taste the coffee, not just the sweetness from the syrup in the fancy drinks. They have a good balance.“
