“Stopped in tonight and had the best burger and fries in Brookings. When Vista Pub closed I was heartbroken because their burgers and fries were amazing. This food was equally impressive. I can't wait to go back. Joe, the owner/chef, was very nice to chat with. If you like amazing burgers, The Little Trolley Food Truck is the place.”

We got the al pastor burrito and it was AMAZING! 🤩 first off, it was a huge burrito and it was stuffed with rice, beans, and perfectly seasoned al pastor! All the ratios were spot on. The salsas that came on the side were also delicious! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area😋”

“9:02pm on Saturday night, 6/17/23- The kitchen staff at Lakeshore Lodge would not serve our local Wildland Fire Crew who were worked to the bone and hungry after containing the Horsefall/North Spit fire after 15+hr work day. The live band was playing and other guests were still eating. I'm thankful that Osprey Point took care of our first responders after such a grueling work day. Gratitude was shown all the way around. Large portions and on point service!!! Thank You!!!”

“What a cute and delicious coffee shop!! Heidi herself was the most sweetest barista I have met in a long time. Her attention to detail to the coffee and making sure every one loved their drink before driving was also very kind of her. Worth the stop on our road trip up the Oregon coast.”

“We went here for their Thanksgiving Buffet. There was one man who was taking care of a PACKED house, and he still made time to make everyone feel like they were family and the food! OMG the food was outstanding! When you can cut brisket with a fork you know you are getting some excellent food. It was all very tasty! Thank you!”

“Go there for the delightful setting on the Umpqua river, but also for the tasty food. Recently I tried their jumbo fried clams and they were the best fried clams I’ve ever tasted, and I order them whenever and wherever I can. The service is friendly and it’s just a great atmosphere. In winter overlook the river from inside but in warmer weather enjoy beers out on the deck. Usually I don’t write reviews but The Schooner is a place I think couples and even families can enjoy!”

“The food has always been pretty good. And most times we get a nice Waitress. There is one that gets a little nasty with the customers on the phone and in the restaurant. I am hoping she got courtesy lessons. We do like the food and do take out as well as dining in. Although I think it is better in resturant. Nice and hot and plated up”

“Highly recommend. Even though we only ordered togo I would rave and recommend this place to everyone. it deserves way higher ratings. The the food was absolutely perfect. We both loved the chowder, the pan-seared baked sea bass and all the sides! And the 🥕 cake was perfect too. Too bad we were just passing by...what a gem!”
