“The service was terrific. We had a big group, and the owner was very cheerful. She was always checking in, making sure our cups were full. Very good portion sizes for the prices. The atmosphere was wonderful. Outside, there are quite a few gingerbread men and women hanging about, which makes for a great place to take a picture. If you're ever nearby, definitely give this place a try.“
“Ended up here by chance after the place we wanted to eat lunch at was closed. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, John, and given a sample tasting of his savory clam chowder. We immediately ordered three bowls. The grilled sandwiches were fresh and delicious. Love the charm of the store with various treasures to be found, and John was a true gentleman and a generous host. Definitely recommend those who are traveling to and/or from the coast to stop by Alphabit for a cup of chowder and conversation... At the very least.“
