“A huge fan. We have slowly been working our way through the menu and have not been disappointed once. Everything is so fresh and delicious! We are always welcomed with friendly service and smiles, we love that they have a cute play area for the little ones and they have the best deviled eggs and baked goods. 10/10 recommend!“
“2nd Update... This update is long overdue. But things have changed for the better. I give it five stars!!. Ten if Human bean would not have raised the prices. But the girls are consistently nice, and the coffee is still, consistently good. I really love going here now!!Update...I do like the coffee & the girls when they're being nice so it bothers me that i have to write this.Latley the attitude from a couple of the girls stinks and, 1 In particular. Not outright mean, I guess i would say indifferent & snotty. These girls used to be nice.It's caused me to wonder about the managements relationship with they're employees. Is it strained?.. Good management = good morale, good morale = happy employees.One girl is always nice, she has braces.I have consistently been a good tipper. I can't always tip but, i try to tip a $1 for each drink if, i can. I worked in bars and restaurants my entire life and, that's a DAMN good percentage. Especially in the wake of the financial strain that Covid has brought to many.Im always pleasant to you girls when im there. Often I will try out new drinks and I'll have questions. So, don't give me an attitude when I ask you what kind of nut milks you have. “The Local Scoop was a welcomed addition to Newport, Oregon. My family enjoys stopping by this establishment during our visits. There's nothing like indulging in an ice cream treat when visiting the coast! The employees are very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is very comfortable.They have indoor and outdoor seating available. The shop and restrooms are always clean and inviting. The restrooms are nicely decorated as if it were a home rather than a public bathroom. The display case and shelves are organized nicely as well.There are several flavors of ice cream to choose from.
