“Definitely a classic tavern atmosphere — lively, local, and full of regulars who all seem to know each other. We had burgers, and they were very good, cooked perfectly. It’s clearly a popular local hangout, and the busy crowd says a lot about the place. A fun, casual stop for good pub food in Newport.“

The small snack menu is perfect for ordering off of and hanging out to watch the sunset. “Quick growler fill. Have ate here in the past, but not today. Staff friendly. Always changing trying to maximize the usage of the space they have between production and the restaurant. Fun to go in and see the process regardless of eating there or not.“

“This is the place on the Newport bayfront for live music!! Karaoke THURS-SAT nights, Live band 3-6pm Saturdays, and a well-run jam/open mic on Sunday 3-6pm. great crowd, the staff is upbeat and friendly (and delightfully sassy), and it's a great hangout.“

“Stopped here on our stay camping and enjoyed delicious sandwiches and beer. I ate the Baked Reuben Sandwich and my wife had the Cubano sandwich. Had a tasty Red beer with bean dip and chips on the side. Great service and food go well with their beer. Be sure and stop here when visiting.“

“If I could give the service 6 stars I would. The food is excellent and the portions are extremely generous but truly the service at this mom and pop restaurant by owners Karen and Corky make this experience truly top notch. One of my favorite restaurants on the coast!“

“Stu & I went to Tide Pool this weekend for some good bar food. We weren't disappointed! Fabulous burger & fries!!! And Megan. She was a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. We are new in town and will back again...and again! Thanks for the great experience!“

“We checked menus at area restaurants and found Sea Hags to be the most diverse. We ordered the halibut salmon braid with sautéed vegetables and crab cake appetizer and shared the meal between the two of us. It was plenty and so delicious. The halibut/ salmon was unique and delicately seasoned & served with a yummy sauce. We also each enjoyed a marionberry lemonade, not too sweet, but well flavored with plenty of berries. I would definitely come back plenty of other dishes I would order.“

“Tia was an amazing bartender, no matter how many people kept piling in she did it ALL which was extremely impressive to watch! Loved that we could also meet the owner on the night we were there. Super cool atmosphere, literally everything we had was great. A million stars!“
