“This food truck is run by Ofelia and her son Tomas, and they serve their community.I had a quesadilla de chorizo with extra meat, and it was hearty, and the corn tortilla tasted home-madOfeliamakes her salsa verde from scratch, which tells me how much she cares about the quality of her food.But these guys get five stars for a reason, and to explain, let me share a small part of the conversation I had with them while I waited for my food:Me: “Do you guys sell all over, or…?”Tomás: “We come to Oakridge for festivals, and to serve the Mountain Bikers’ events on weekends but mostly we sell in Pleasant Hill, usually at the Feed Store.”( At this point, they serve my quesadilla with extra meat and it is only $8! )Me: “This feels like a bargain. I could expect to pay $12 or $13 for this in Eugene.”Tomás: We recognize that these are hard times for everybody with rising prices, and with everything going on, and we want to make sure that our food is available to everyone — even people that are struggling. We are not greedy. We are part of the community.”Ofelia: “I spend a lot of time serving the young people at Pleasant Hill High School. Those boys are good to me, and I am good to them. I almost thonk of them as my other sons. We all have to take care of each other.”Also, this business sells very attractive pot holders made by a disabled woman in the community. They are re-purposed from jeans pockets and very cute! All proceeds are donated back to the creator.Please consider supporting this family business. “Seriously one of, if not the only, place in Eugene where I can get fresh and delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. Noe always puts a smile on my face as this is my go to spot when I have to buy lunch on my break at work. Working in the mall is a blast, but the food can become a bit repetitive. At least when I eat here, it tastes delicious every time, it doesn’t make my body feel bad, and I feel healthier than eating at the fast food chains! Most of the other places, after a while, start to taste like over processed fast food. You will not get that here- worth every penny! Thank you Noe !!“

“Incredible food! I live close so I am here at least once a week recently. Food is amazing- I highly recommend the Chicken Verde Torta. The margaritas are also really good, and they offer really good non-alcoholic drinks as well. Good service and everyone is very nice and helpful. Great place for anyone.“

“What you see here I don't even have a name for it. If you want to order, ask for the : sausage, chicken, beef, shrimp, cactus, roasted jalapeño plate. This was the special but is now on the menu as a regular item. I don't think this pic does it justice. Sheer volume alone requires 2 people to finish it. The flavors are outstanding. I been going to this flavor mecca for 10+ years and it's yet to not satisfy. A wide ranging menu, if you don't see it, ask for it. I recommend...oh they have a fully stocked bar with brews to Margaritas as well. During the pandemic, they not only stayed alive, but built a permanent outdoor eating area that is a nice alternative to a very pleasant indoor atmosphere. Local, family owned, gracious host and the food is impeccable. In a time when sadly we are losing great eateries for a variety of reasons, fortunately, these folks are thriving!“

“As I walked in I felt different… it’s was cozy and energetic. Very low key. The food was super authentic and I just wanted a breakfast burrito lol. It was my first time having one with beans in it and I didn’t know I was missing out for so long ? needless to say the portions were spot on and evenly distributed. I eat light sometimes so I finished it later as it was prolly over a pound.. definitely coming back. I actually had a veteran come sit with me and it was a delight to listen to him.“

“My first time ordering here & I was not disappointed. Our family ordered several meals. I ordered their carnitas taco salad & it is the best taco salad I've ever had. Plenty of meat, tasty ingredients & the shell was crisp & tasty (none of that stall, old oil taste). And our meal was ready for us when I walked in. We will be back!“

I wasn’t able to get the pulled pork off of the DoorDash menu for some reason it wasn’t showing up so I messaged an employee and they helped get it back on there! “Stopped in here for a quick late lunch with a friend. Service was super friendly. They have put a lot into the ambience. It is very clean, bright, and spacious. I suspect that they do a pretty busy lunch business because even at 3:30 in the afternoon, it had a steady flow of customers. A mix of high school students and locals. I really wanted to try there pork chili Verde so I had two tacos with it and it was delicious. My friend had shredded beef enchiladas with rice and beans. I love it. They open at 7 AM and have breakfast options. I have been looking for someplace to get a good Mexican breakfast. Will have to come back and try it.“

“In our opinion, this food is some of the best Mexican food that we have eaten. There is one other one in Yuma, Arizona, that we like, but the food here and the service was fantastic. We had trace amigos fajitas, which is steak, chicken, and shrimp, and not only was the food good but the tortilla chips, crunchy and wonderful.. Maria was a fantastic waitress. Thank you so much for a great lunch on the Fourth of July weekend. We will definitely come back to this restaurant for the service, the food and the atmosphere. What OK OK well I got a pay.“

“I've been coming here for years with my mom, the carnitas are a saturday only type deal and they run out quickly. Carnitas are pretty good, that's mainly what we go for, it's very convenient to buy premade, makes quick tacos! The tortillas are fresh, hot, tasty. Salsas are pretty good too! They definitely sell like everything here, from tortillas to tostadas to salsa to frijoles, all for people's convenience. Customer service was very kind! They've renovated a ton since the last time I was there and it looks very good now, spacious and lots of variety.“
