“Pleasure Burger in Portland is a top-notch spot for smash burgers, which are my personal favorite. Their burgers are renowned for their incredible flavor and perfect texture. Each bite delivers a satisfying crunch thanks to the well-executed smash technique, which maximizes the caramelized crust on the patties. The Pleasure Burger, with its simple yet delicious composition, is a standout item on the menu. In addition to their stellar burgers, the Parmesan waffle fries are a must-try, perfectly seasoned and paired with tasty dipping sauce. The atmosphere at their new downtown location is set to be inviting, with an all-black aesthetic and modern touches, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Overall, if you're a fan of smash burgers, Pleasure Burger is a destination you shouldn't miss. Their dedication to quality and flavor ensures a delightful dining experience every time.“

“Currently they are running a special called the Mariners Burger, which mimics the classic Seattle Dog in smash burger form. It's amazing, and absolutely inspired. However I'm not just here to write about the exceptional food this place serves, but rather the literal magic they deliver:
So, yesterday (10/17/2025 for future record) I, a lifelong Mariners fan, picked up said inspired burger on my way home from work to watch game 5 of the ALCS. For those who don't know, this is an historically rare feat for the Mariners, and as excited as I was to watch the game I was also starving.
Fast forward to my arrival home--the M's are down 2-1 and are once again beginning to look like a team that forgot how to play baseball. I sit on my couch exasperated, next to my dog with burger in hand. First bite: delicious, creamy, jalapeno spicy, CAL (BIG DUMPER) RALEIGH HITS A HOMER TO TIE THE GAME! I lose it, go absolutely ecstatic, dog is barking, etc. I realize I need to stand up and get some water so I do that. Next thing that happens, Blue Jays load the bases as I'm processing all of this sensory overload. I realize I'm once again starving and take a second bite--EUGENIO SUAREZ GRAND SALAMI! This is not hyperbole, nor lie, both bites led to some of the most impactful and momentous events in Seattle Mariners baseball history. My soul left my body, my brain still doesn't function right, and this morning I still believe that this burger made history happen last night through osmosis and magic.
Tomorrow is game 6 of the ALCS. Will definitely be buying another burger, maybe 5 for it.“

“I usually get very good food here. But just ordered a coney long dog and went right home around the corner. The weiner wasn't even luke warm. Only thing that was somewhat a little over warm was the coney sauce. I guess I will have to try out at the McGloughlin Roakes. This was very depressing and disappointing.“

“Amazing and I mean AMAZING service! Bar tender was super friendly and liked to chat about the stuff and you can tell he took pride in his work. The food was to literally die for best pulled pork sandwich I've ever hands down baldy's BBQ got nothing on you guys! We are from bend and made the trip up just to try this food and it was worth every penny. We will be back in October for Adam Sandler and will definitely be going here again!“

“I once had their burgers years ago when their stand was a long Sandy in Northeast Portland.
It has been years since I've had their burgers and I'm so glad I stumbled across them on Google maps again after trying to find them for so long.
All these years I still think about those burgers and shakes. That's how much I like them.“

“I’m not sure if Jane is the owner but was very nice. There are two tablets to order on and it was super nice to have a sink to wash your hands not within the bathroom. The pricing was a little expensive but the food was delicious. I enjoyed a single hamburger, fries and even the chicken strips. The flavors really hit the spot! Ava loved the chocolate shake and she was even given quite a few unicorn stickers which made her day.“

“6/5 stars, beyond my expectations. My wife and I drove 50 minutes to try this new food truck in Portland after reading the OregonLive article about them. The food was phenomenal and have us craving for more. We ordered the Smash burger and fries, it was perfect in every way. The bun tasted homemade and super fresh, the patty was cooked perfectly and super flavorful, the homemade pickles were better than any pickles we’ve had from any restaurant, and the monster sauce was the best sauces I’ve had for a “special sauce” mixture (which I normally despise). The fries are cooked to perfection (my wife said she has never had a better fry in her life) and the garlic aioli was delicious. There was no big line, our food was served super quick and was super fresh. This food cart should be picking up business really quick so come get one of Portland’s best smash burgers while you can before the lines start forming.“

“Awesome neighborhood sandwich shop in a bustling neighborhood with plenty going on to keep it exciting. Diamond in the coal mine!
The food is exceptional, which is no surprise considering it's a Your Neighborhood Restaurant Group location, which has over half a dozen chef/butcher/owner operated locations around Portland.
Quality meats and well sourced ingredients. Great selection of beer and cider, and a surprisingly diverse menu with great options for all appetites.
We've tried the smashburgers, hot sandwiches (hot honey chicken and turkey), steak salad, and the sides. All meals were well received by ages 5-45, from foodie to redneck. They look as good as they taste, which is such a nice change of pace, considering the price point, which is very fair.
We will keep supporting this location as long as it's here in our neighborhood! Great work guys!“

“We found them on Google, walked in and gave them a try. They were so good! The pumpkin waffle was out of this world, and my husband loved the breakfast burrito. 10/10 recommend, will come back next visit to Portland. The atmosphere was so cozy, the art on the walls so much fun. Just a good place to eat overall.“

“They serve HUGE burgers and LOTS of tater tots with their $15 lunch specials. Even though the place seems a little run down from the outside, once you enter the old A-frame building it's like taking a trip into the past.
The food is hot and fresh and served directly to your table with a large bottle of ketchup! Plus extra napkins b/c you are going to need them. This place is a hidden gem 💎 in Gresham!
They'll only charge you $15 but give them $20, it's worth it.“

“I use to work at Mary’s produce. During the time I frequently binge drank and snorted cocaine after work and would often find myself extremely hung over pacing in a produce freezer sorting vegetables. It wasn’t so bad but when lunch came around and you would finally emerge from the frozen dungeon, a fierce hunger would flow through the veins. Thankfully Bernie’s teriyaki was right around the corner. Their service was prompt, quality, and delicious. I would highly recommend“
“Absolutely a wonderful time whether casual or just fun and a quick drink! Very nice staff and food was amazing! Matt, the bartender was very helpful!! Great Paninis and desserts and soup!! I will be back for sure!!!!“

“Honestly, one of the best burgers I ever had. The only thing I hate it was that you have to do everything on the screen instead of the staff helping you. the lemonade has a lot of sugar. It could be better other than that it’s a great place to eat.“

“Best veggie burger of my life! Hands-down, they have the best veggie burger, and I consider myself an aficionado. It’s not the crap- filled, unhealthy version, the boring fart inducing version or the dry dusty crumbly version. It’s a beautiful, well crafted, superbly FLAVORFUL, house made veggie burger with vegetables and whole foods. The flavor has an adobo taste to it. Plus they put cheese on it! I love veggie burgers, but I’m not a vegan or vegetarian so this was just really cool. I would definitely come back here again soon.
We came here super late and all the car pods were closed about 10 minutes before they’re closing time. We were just about to scramble and find an alternative And saw that this car has their lights on. We rolled up, thinking that they were certainly not going to service, but they absolutely did and with a smile“

“This is easily one of my favorite places in portland to get a breakfast burrito. I usually go for the chorizo breakfast burrito and I love the pepper, onion, and potatoes they put in it. Their salsa bar hits hard too. For the price, it’s hard to beat.“

“Paid Face Plant a visit after hearing many good things from friends. I’ll preface by saying I’m not vegan or vegetarian but was down to give the concept a try.
It’s in a bit of an odd part of town which I was surprised by but it’s a lovely little corner they have. We wound up going in to order vs doing a drive through but it looks as though they could accommodate a large amount of volume. The inside atmosphere is simple but clean with nice branding. Feels classic and timeless.
Food wise went with the standard combo meal with a strawberry shake and a small side of nuggies. The burger as someone who typically eats meat was definitely the closest vegan equivalent I have had. Even the cheese which I usually avoid was pretty solid. It was hearty and tasty. The fries were also good and the shake was a big time standout. Not sure what vegan equivalent they use but the shake was rich and thiccc. Couldn’t have told you it was vegan.
Service was solid and they brought the food to our table which was nice. I can imagine that with a large group or a busy time it could get backed up a bit, but we found it alright. There’s ample parking in the parking lot for guests looking to dine in.“
“May be my favorite Portland venue. Affordable tickets, great sound, bar open late so you can eat after the show. The balcony is awesome, highly recommended to get there early to land a seat.

“Burger was on point, fries were cooked perfectly and everything came out hot. That being said the person at the front counter was less then welcoming. They didn't say anything and rolled their eyes at me twice while I was trying to order. When you're wearing a mask there's not a lot to go off of. Needless to say next time I will get it to go and tip the kitchen staff personally“
