Randomly went to this bar during a visit to Portland, and it did not disappoint. Nick (pretty sure that is his name) was so nice!!! I was on vacation and was craving a cosmo. He kindly made me one, and it was SO GOOD. Loved the vibes here so much we wanted to come back again but ran out of time. We'll definitely come back on our next road trip to Portland.
Service: Excellent. The bartender was incredibly friendly and welcoming and made my first visit memorable late into the night!Environment: Donnie’s has a grungy feel to it, which I loved. The best of the best. A neighborhood institution. One of the only bars that generally stays up until 2/2:30 nightly. You will talk to interesting strangers, run into old friends, and maybe end up in a small dance party. Hot dogs are there to keep you going. Go forth and enjoy.
