DOYAJI Reviews
Delicious 😋
It seems like an impossible task to capture a Korean BBQ in a food cart, but somehow they do it. I get the pork belly and the slightly higher price point verses other carts is well-worth it, as there's easily enough for leftovers. You will have to physically restrain yourself from finishing it, though.
Tofu 🔥🔥🔥

DOYAJI is a hidden gem in Portland, known for its delectable Korean cuisine. The Gochujang hot honey fried chicken is a standout dish, praised for its super crispy and flavorful texture. Generous portions of rice and sides complement the main dishes, offering a satisfying dining experience.
The Korean fried chicken bentos are another customer favorite, with the thin strips of seasoned scallion adding a delightful touch. The red bean rice, reminiscent of homemade recipes, is a hit among diners. The warm and clean indoor dining area adds to the overall pleasant atmosphere.
The fried tofu is a unique and delicious offering, with a crispy breading similar to fried chicken and a soft, flavorful tofu center. The pork belly dishes, including the grilled kimchi, have also received high praise, evoking nostalgic memories of traditional Korean home-cooked meals.
While some menu items, such as the plum fried chicken and overly salty kimchi, may not have been as well-received, DOYAJI remains a popular destination for authentic and satisfying Korean cuisine in Portland.
