Great food, good price, large portions
Best chinese in SE Portland. They do take out with the same precision and speed as dine in. Can't wait till COVID restrictions are loosened!
By far the best Chinese food anywhere!!! Beautiful bar with some of the best bartenders in Portland and happy hour! What you expect when you crave Chinese!

Golden Dynasty is a great little Chinese restaurant with a good menu selection. The lunch portions are well-sized, and the fortune cookies are fresh. The egg foo young is delicious, featuring a good gravy, while the sweet and sour sauce strikes a perfect balance, not overly sweetened. The batter is not overly fried, contributing to its extra crunchiness.
The restaurant's male waiter provides excellent service, hosting the aquatic exercise class with efficiency and attentiveness. The vegetarian lo mein noodles are delicious, with generous portions of pea pods and roasted green beans. The egg rolls are deep-fried, but the oil is light, and the filling is tasty. Customizable vegetarian options are available, such as tofu General Tso's.
Recent reviews highlight the restaurant's fresh and well-cooked food, particularly the Hot & Sour Soup, which is worth a drive for. The lounge area offers a bar-like atmosphere with good drinks and a friendly vibe. Customers appreciate the large, bright dining room and the generous portions, especially for dishes like orange chicken with steamed rice. Many guests enjoy the cozy atmosphere and the friendly service, making it a favorite spot for years.
