My first stop at an Oregon coffee shop couldn’t have been better!
Velvet Hammer is my favorite cup of coffee EVER. Just wish there was a J&P's closer to me in inner SE PDX.

Jim & Patty's Coffee is a nostalgic gem, offering delicious options like Pig Newtons and Biscuits and Gravy. Located in a great neighborhood, the place has grown better over time, providing a classic coffee spot experience. The breakfast sandwich and coffee are fresh and delicious, with the biscuit texture being one of the best. Customers love the Pig Newtons and the variety of breakfast options, including the goat cheese breakfast sandwich and the berry smoothie. While the food availability may be limited, and parking can be a challenge, Jim & Patty's Coffee is a great early morning stop for a satisfying breakfast.
