Top Burmese Burma Joy Reviews
We made a reservation to go here for the tea experience for my birthday. The service was terrible and the food was not great. They advertised that we would each get a pot of tea and it was only a small cup. They never even came back to refill our water or tea or to ask how our food was. It was extremely disappointing. We will not be going back.
This place was such a let down. I understand that I ordered on DoorDash and so I shouldn’t expect the best, but the beef curry with coconut rice was just revolting. The rice was clearly burnt, like they had scraped the rice bottom of the rice cooker. In the beef curry tasted absolutely nothing like curry. I’m actually insulted they called it curry. I had to scoop out over 1/4 cup of oil from the container. It tasted like dry, boiled beef in gravy and oil.
Very joyful vibes!! Delicious food!!

Top Burmese Burma Joy is a captivating Burmese restaurant that has left diners raving. The 5 curry feast, delivered by a charming robot, was a delightful experience, with the tea curry and beef stew curry standing out as particularly delicious. Customers new to Burmese cuisine were pleasantly surprised by the fermented tea leaves salad, which offered a nice balance of flavors with a subtle umami taste.
The restaurant also impressed with its cocktails, such as the Burma Blue, and delectable starters like the chicken samosas. The 3-curry taster feast, featuring tea leaf chicken, pumpkin, and beef stew, was a standout, leaving diners satisfied yet with leftovers, thanks to the option of jasmine rice refills. The beef stew, in particular, was described as one of the best dishes the customers had ever tasted.
The Burmese dessert cake, served by the attentive staff, was a unique and delightful end to the meal, with its strong coconutty and buttery flavor and slightly jelly-like texture. The restaurant is known for its exceptional Burmese cuisine, delightful service, and memorable dining experience. Customers have enjoyed the restaurant's atmosphere, including the possibility of a piano player on Saturdays, and the accommodation for dietary restrictions.
