“Rose City Book Pub hosted us for a show and they were amazing. The staff worked SO hard to take care of us, especially since they weren’t expecting a huge group of wizard rockers to descend upon their establishment. What a cool venue, and so welcoming. Thank you thank you thank you!“

“I love staying at the White Eagle, a historic working person’s hotel in North Portland. The music venue downstairs is wonderful, food always excellent, rooms are basic and comfy, bathrooms down the hall clean with lots of hot water for showers. Best of all, friendly staff and courteous fellow guests. Bargain prices. I stay here on almost all my trips through Portland.“
“A cute little dive bar. It was far from crowded, not many people when I checked it out. Mostly people hanging out on the slot machines, or shooting pool on the only table they had. Majority of the people were a young group of regulars, but a few older folks as well. The bartender was very sweet. ?“

“Come here for a Timbers game, sit in the back patio. Or have a nice date night inside. Enjoy a great food selection with a cocktail, local draft beer, or pound a few cans of cheap beer. There's something for everyone here. Great vibes to make you feel like you're at a neighborhood spot, whether you live nearby or in the burbs.“

“Love the atmosphere and service everytime I'm in there. The Irish Dip is my go to with Cajun tots. The bun seemed different this time which was a little bit of a bummer since it was too soft for a dip but everything else was good as always.“
“Old Portland. Excellent beers and cocktails, pinball, music from Tom Waits to Rainbow. Totinos pizza and White Castles provide a buffer to the alcohol. An expansive patio affords views of the Clinton Street bike path and happy Portlanders passing. Go here and experience Portland circa 1995.“

“As a visitor from South Carolina (aka Trumpistan), I am thrilled to know places like this establishment actually exist. We have no such refuges in my region. It’s so refreshing to mingle with people who value good drinks, good politics, and good society.
Thank you thank you for making my visit to Portland memorable.
Thank you for supporting and defending your community so well.
Thank you for just being good humans.
Solidarity!“

“The poutine was just OK. They need to add pocked 9 ions and pickled jalapenos as standard and allow you to take them off if you don't like them. Also, the best poutine I have had has braised beef or pulled pork or some sort of meat to balance all the flavors.
The beer was very good. I tried their reserve stuff and their bourbon barrel aged beer and they were pretty good - all of them.“

“Extremely well curated tap list featuring Oregon legends, west coast collabs and new upcoming brewers and cider makers. The rotating cider list is especially great. The owner and staff are knowledgeable and super friendly. It truly is an exceptional neighborhood spot and it was sorely needed.“
“Love watching movies at this historical place. The atmosphere is surreal as pictures and artwork from many years ago line the walls in many parts of this building. They seem to take you back in time to where things were a lot different. Aside from that, the movie experience is just so surreal and a very comfortable experience as movie seating consists of couches, loveseats, recliners, and chairs which are bordered by miscellaneous tables of different sizes. Feels like your watching a movie in a big living room with many friends. The food is above average with a variable menu and decent prices. Overall, this setting of watching movies is great for all ages, kids and adults. My favorite place to watch cinema.“

“This gem, hidden in the heart of Portland is great !!! It's like a small town tavern where everybody knows your name.
The Hostess / Bartender / Waitress Lady greeted us warmly🥰, cleared a table, and made some excellent meal, drink, and appetizer suggestions. We both ordered the "Dungeon Burger"; my friend had the soup side and I chose the fries. I had an excellent sweet-tart Moscato blend to sip with my meal and my friend chose a soft drink.
While we waited, the music ambience was excellent rock music loud enough to give us privacy in our conversation while not being loud enough to hinder our conversation.
Our food arrived... WOW, the fries were fries, but the Dungeon burger was a most excellent flavorful experience. The usual toppings were good, but the burger patties were cooked to perfection !!! The flavor was terrific with pink in the middle, just as I love it. It was a culinary delight bursting with flavor, moist and juicy. I found it juicy and messy (if it's not messy, it isn't awesome) and incredibly delicious. I WILL return !!! I can easily recall the
flavor to this minute.
For a late evening meal, I highly recommend this McMenamins !!!“

“Great service; Cheeseheads all around, nice array of food and beverages. Be Warned: One serving of fried cheese curds is enough for 4 Portlanders, or 2 WI Cheeseheads. You may have enough to share with strangers.
I wish they would sell half the quantity for even just $4 less, but Huge Portions are the Way, it seems. Go Pack Go!!!“

“We came here after driving by several times and decided to try it out. What we loved was that this place was initially a home. We loved the antiques and quirky items sitting on the wall shelves which reminded us of ‘the good ole days’. Our drinks and food - I had the salmon salad and hubby had the burger - , were very tasty and served quickly by our waiter who was very attentive. We will definitely be returning.“

“I just went into this little Bar ? briefly to use the restroom honestly but I was so blown away by the way the people in there were able to make me feel in such a short amount of time that I wanted to leave a review. ??
The bartender Stormi was totally kickass and down to earth; you could tell that her upbeat personality set the mood and everyone in there was feeling that same way. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely happy that I actually didn't want to leave... I almost never go to bars but, if you do; I'd definitely recommend trying this one. ??
Being friendly and caring really does go a long way and can do more for some people than you may know. ??
Thanks everyone in there today for turning my day around. ?“

“Great local taproom. They play great music on a double record player, and great live music on the weekends. The cider in particular is very good. The food is hot or miss, the pizza is great if a little pricey, the apps and sandwiches are getting better.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not easily accessed by wheelchair that I could see. At least one or 2 steps at every entrance.“

“Things to dig about the Record Pub: - Music for every type of listener. -Bar to sit down for a drink and think about what records you need to add to your arsenal. -Staff to talk about your selections with. -Educated suggestions for additional beats based upon the ensuing conversation of music you’ll have with the bartender. -Finishing another beverage all happy and giddy about the new vinyl you’re taking home.“
