Rainbow Dragon Restaurant Reviews
My family has been coming here for about 30 years, usually for special occasions; bdays and such. Love everything about the (mostly fried) Chinese food they serve. Portions are very generous.
My family has been eating here for over 35 years. Growing up less than a mile away, this was THE place to get an order to go when my parents didn't feel like cooking and I followed in their footsteps when raising my own children. Now that I live out of state we aleays make sure to eat here when we are back in town for any occasion. My son now brings his wife and child here to eat when they crave Chinese food.

Look, it’s not a high end restaurant. Has boxes in the dining area and the windows are boarded up. That said the food seemed to be made all fresh, fast, tasted good and there was great service. In the future takeout is probably the route to go but the waiter was really nice. Compared to a lot of restaurants it’s probably a 2.5 out of 5. But just like your favorite B tier movie that you’ve watched 100 times you’ll keep coming back to Rainbow Dragon.

The Rainbow Dragon Restaurant has been a favorite among locals for many years, with some customers visiting for over 25 years. The food is consistently good, with generous portions that offer good value for money. The staff, led by the owner Henry, is friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere for diners. Many customers praise the almond chicken and spare ribs with fried rice, finding that the food always hits the spot. The General Tso's chicken is often described as crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat, while the egg rolls are considered a highlight. The pork lo mein, pork fried rice, and sesame beef are also highly appreciated for their freshness and taste.
While the restaurant is not always crowded, it remains a go-to spot for many. The one-man operation, with Henry cooking himself, adds a personal touch that customers enjoy. Parking can be a concern, with some recommending locking doors and hiding possessions to prevent theft. The main issue noted by some is the cleanliness of the restrooms, especially the women's restroom, which has been described as neglected and poorly maintained. This raises questions about overall cleanliness, including the kitchen, and might discourage some customers unless improvements are made. Despite these concerns, the restaurant’s charm, quality food, and friendly owner continue to attract regular visitors.
