Seven Virtues Coffee Roasters was a decent stop during our trip to Portland. We checked it out after seeing it on multiple recommendation lists, and while the coffee was good, it didn’t particularly stand out. The flavors were well-balanced, but nothing memorable. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice, but overall, it was just an okay coffee stop rather than a must-visit.
I love a good cafe window seat with a matcha latte on a rainy day but unfortunately this matcha latte was not it. Perhaps I should try another one with a different milk base or add sweetener, but the one I ordered was normal milk with a splash of honey and I did not enjoy it. Too foamy and overpriced!
All the pastries are vegan and gluten-free. The chocolate chip cookie was so soft that it didn't seem like it had been baked at all. I didn't really like the flavor either. My partner said the coffee was fine, though.
