This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.
Probably my favorite sushi place for a consistent date night experience. The Sashimi is always delicious. The Sake flights are always rotating and really tasty. I also highly recommend the hokkaido scallop. You get 1, but its warm and buttery and the best scallop I have ever had. Im hungry just writing it. The only issues Ive had have been getting a table, its so busy! It can also be a little noisy at time. But youll be eating so much good stuff you may not even need to talk once...read full review
Had an incredible meal here. We ordered everything - sashimi (yellowtail, salmon, albacore), nigiri (ankimo, uni, ikura), and rolls (too many to name), we had an excellent time. Fantastic service and excellent chef skills from Kevin and Juan. Will be my new staple going forward.
