They originally used to pull fantastic espresso. Hands down used to be one of best espressos served in US. Not kidding.
It has gone commercial for the past several years. Still a decent espresso is served here.
Sadly Portland has severely deteriorated that they have to post a guard (with gun) at the front entrance.
Extremely dirty bathroom.
Long time location for Stumptown. Same great coffee. Lots of space. Oat milk is the standard.
Rose gold latte was good ($8 for 16oz). Love the cups. The cafe is spacious and has cool art. The snake table really surprised me.

A security person outside helps manage the crowd, which is appreciated by guests. While there's seating available, it can fill up quickly, making it less ideal for a long stay. The coffee itself is rich and full of flavor, and the café is highly recommended for both coffee aficionados and newcomers. It is a shame that the store attached to the Ace Hotel is no longer there.
