TarBoush Lebanese Bistro & Bar offers delectable and flavorful dishes, such as their highly recommended lamb skewer and baba ghanoush, as well as Tabbouli and chicken. The garlic sauce is a standout. The service is jovial and attentive, with staff providing speedy and patient care. The restaurant is set in a charming old home, and while items are on the pricier side, the quality of food and service is reflected in the cost.

A favorite for light or big meals, it would be difficult to go wrong on this menu. Start with a mezza for the table to share, then get a kebab plate—the kafta and chicken are amazing—and finish with baklava for dessert. The lamb kabobs are cooked perfectly, and the rice is amazing. The hummus is the best, silkiest hummus ever, served with steaming hot pita. Main dishes come in generous portions, perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

The atmosphere is beautiful, with a lovely view of Hawthorne Street, and the owners are fabulous and welcoming. Though service can sometimes be inconsistent, the overall experience is delightful, making TarBoush a wonderful find for Lebanese cuisine.
