The menu includes a wide selection of dishes such as potstickers, tofu summer rolls, won ton soup, shrimp fried rice, ma po tofu, crispy eggplant, char siu bao, stir-fried morning glory with garlic sauce, pan-fried fish, catfish stewed in clay pot, Vietnamese sweet & sour soup, jade tofu with king mushroom, fried rice, pepper salted soft shell crab, papaya salad, and pad thai. While some dishes may be hit or miss, the sweet & sour pork spare ribs and salt & pepper squid are standout choices. The dim sum is decent for the price, and the snow pea leaves are a favorite. The food is better than average, with delicious sauces, fresh ingredients, and great flavours. The servers are very nice and attentive, offering some of the best service among Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants. The open area has a low ceiling and loud music, but the overall experience is satisfying. Everything is reasonably priced, though large reservations can be expensive. Thiên Hoàng is a great place to enjoy delicious Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine with friendly staff and a pleasant ambiance.
