“Excellent whiskey bar. Good selection of whiskeys and full bar options with attention to detail and balance on cocktails. They take their cocktails very seriously which is appreciated. And atmosphere is unique— old library feel with brass book shelf wheeled ladders (for liquor though), leather seats, and large wood slated floors. Food was so so, but highly recommend for drinks.“

“One of my favorite neighborhood spots. I used to love getting the Farm Salad with steak. I still get the salad, but it’s just so much better with steak. Really hope they bring the steak add-on back because the chicken just isn’t the same!“

“Best bar in Kerns, and there is stiff competition. The bar staff is terrific, the Monday happy hour is worth the trip, and their selection is well curated. Come by for a drink, stay for some food with the adjacent Zipper restaurants, or hang out for conversation or a corner with a book.“

“I ordered the 4 horseman as Test of constitution and vitality .
Once I got the drink I very quickly realized the Malort had been left out in all actuality.

I thought this may have been in an attempt to save my soul and didn’t want to bother the staff.
But I found out from another that it had run dry and the last bartender had left it out on my behalf.

Three horseman…I missed fourth.
I will wonder what I have missed forever henceforth.“

“The beer menu is extensive and full of lots of amazing local options.

Everything on the food menu is good but, in my opinion, they have some of the best smash burgers in the city. If you're a fan of that style I definitely recommend trying one.

Even though they're not necessarily known for their cocktails, they always have a few really unique and fun options in that department too, also often using local products.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly until a certain time of evening.

I wouldn't bring tiny kids there but my tweens/teens love it. They love taking card games in the afternoons to play while we get drinks and snacks.“

“Randomly found this place when the restaurant we wanted to go to was booked. I was very surprised that it was inside a hotel. The food was so good with great flavor combinations. And they made an excellent old fashioned and even a fancy mocktail! I would eat here again next time I see a show at the Keller center. And easy walk to the show.“

Riley did my tour of the Distillery and I told him I was not super knowledgeable about how whiskey is made; he was able to explain things in a way that I could understand. Our server, Sage, was a bright light — gracious, kind, and attentive in a way that made us feel not just served, but welcomed.

Supporting Black-owned businesses is always meaningful, and here it felt especially beautiful because the food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality all came together with such love.

“I am rarely so pleased with a place and experience that I take the time to let the internet know.

I have certain food restrictions due to my religion, and are not able to have a lot of breakfast favorites because they often have pork. I was so happy to see eggs Benedict with veggie sausage and biscuits and gravey with non-pork options (elk and mushroom).

The drinks too! Veg bloody maries! The Rosemary Paloma was great too.

My server Mars was awesome and is great at what they do. When I mentioned it was my birthday, they said they'd cover my drink for me!

I found this place while visiting from out of state and I hope to come back again before I leave!

“The staff were so amazing here. They really cared about everyone enjoying their dishes and drinks. On top of the friendly staff the drinks were amazing! Didn’t stay for food but it looked yummy. We’ll be back for more soon!“

“Really cool space! They have a fun little play & dining area for kids. This area contains a little kitchen and an assortment of play food. Kids can also watch the planes take off.
