I just ordered food to go. Extremely friendly gentleman at the counter. He brought me tea while I waited. My order was ready before I was halfway through drinking the tea. He also included a small soup. Very kind and much appreciated.
I have been here about four times now. Bartenders, always friendly, 4 1/2 rating on the food is more accurate, so def better than average food and because the hot and sour soup is especially good, I had to lean towards five stars. Drinks are hand pour and reasonabley priced. Physical atmosphere/decore is a meh . . but it's a pretty old place . . very friendly, loyal patrons, every time, however. Very good value. Comfortable. Sometimes an old "dive" is a treasure!
