“We stopped in today for lunch on a beautiful Daturday afternoon in October. We had our pup with us, and he needed to get out of the car for a minute. We wondered around the food cart pod and found the cart we came for. The service was polite and friendly. We ordered some bacon jam grilled cheeseburgers and some dirty fries plus a separate patty for the pup. It came out hot and ready in about 10 minutes.

We received our order and went back to the car to get back on the road. Fed the dog his patty, and he, of course, crushed his burger. We decided we should probably eat ours too. The bacon jam smashburger was very good, super thin patty with a nice sweet bacon jam on top. Highly recommended. The dirty fries were also pretty good, a bit sweet from the burger sauce, but the pulled pork was a great touch. Well worth the short detour from where we came from to try this great spot. If your looking for a good local option in south Salem I recommend you stop in here and give them a shot.

“This place has by far the best smash burgers you can get anywhere around!! If you have not tried them you should run and not walk. They sell out fast, so make sure to check their Facebook page. It is usually more updated than any other site. They even have an app so you can order directly from them!! They even have cocktails and milkshakes!! Go check them out. You will not regret it!!! “Order the Burger salad with thousand Island dressing. No fork😕. Got two small cups with something red in them. Definitely not thousand Island dressing. Tried it before pouring on salad. It tasted like ketchup mixed with sugar mixed with something else. Immediately threw out both cups. I ended up just pouring a packet of mayonnaise on the salad. The salad was pretty good after finding a fork and a mayonnaise packet.“

“Excellent, friendly service. Very plus size friendly. comfortable tables and chairs without arms. Seems very wheelchair accessible.No booths, only tables and chairs. Has a wheelchair ramp and it's fairly open and easy to move around. I am not a wheelchair user myself, but as a large woman, I like seeing lots of space to move around. Their food is excellent and their milkshakes are absolutely DEVINE!“

“This was my first time at this Applebees. Our food was hot, and most importantly, correct. I have specific allergy restrictions and usually have to order my food a certain way. It was completely correct and our server, Jessica, checked on us numerous times throughout our visit. She was very kind to us and also helped us when we weren’t sure what we wanted/asked for suggestions. I am not originally from Oregon and back home the Applebees weren’t good at all. I remember strictly avoiding them back in the day for mediocre food, but this has entirely changed my experience. Thanks again Jessica, your service was incredible!“

“Nancy Joe's has very good burgers and very friendly and courteous service definitely the go-to spot for burgers..... My only complaint is every other time I go in there they get my order wrong. And I've become embarrassed to keep sending Burger back and asking them to fix it the way I ordered it so I just accept it however they choose to make it for me at that time. The last time I was there I ordered it as I always do... Lettuce pickle tomato and onion.. I got one piece of lettuce and a handful of pickles....oh jeez ?. I will still remain a customer of Nancy Joe's.“

“Stopped by around 2PM. Ordered Chicken Tortilla Salad, excellent. My wife 4 cheese mac, she didn't like it. The manager comped her meal and gave us an Oriental Chicken Salad at no charge to go. “The staff was AMAZING for my Make a Wish family’s send-off party! Diana, Chris, Julia, and friends were so accommodating from setup of our table, serving food, and helping assist the final clean up. Every staff member wore Disney gear, from entire costumes and Pajama onesies to mouse ear headbands. Mirabel/Julia was a most wonderful waitress and the whole family loved her. Their team provided an entire party for us, filled with balloons, Encanto glasses, crazy straws, and even helped us setup additional decorations. I could tell they were so excited to apart of something special, and the thing is, they were the ones that made it so special. One server told me “we’ve been shopping for this for weeks!” They all smiled as they came by the table to say hello to our wish family. The entire restaurant transformed just for our wish and it was an amazing experience. My heart was touched by the joyful nature of these employees. Everyone came together to celebrate my wish kid, and I am forever grateful for their thoughtfulness. So often we talk about our wish kids bringing hope to the world, but now I realize that the hope also comes from those who come to help. “Awesome sports bar!! They have lots of TV's to cover all the games, on any given day. They have a pool table, that you can use for $5 an hour or .75 cents a game. There are a couple basketball games and a 4 player Pac-Man console. Which is perfect for when you bring the kids along! Minors are allowed up until closing, so it's very family friendly.Their food is delicious, everything I've tried there has been good but their Teriyaki Chicken Low Mein (or Yakisoba) bowls can't be beat??“

“No matter who is working drive-thru, the staff is always so friendly with friendly voices. Food is always hot and quick and tastes good. I was bummed though when I went to this location on 10/26/24 and got a soda. The soda tasted flat so I asked the worker if I could get something else. He happily offered but that drink was flat too. You could tell even by the color and lack of carbonation in the sodas. He said the CO2 might be low/bad but there was nothing they could do for me. So I was bummed that I paid money for something I couldn't enjoy.“
