Massive disappointment. The poke is fish, rice, and soy sauce in a cup with no other toppings. The menu has "1 scoop" for $11.50 and "2 scoops" for $19. We assumed the second scoop was fish because it costs $7.50. I got one and my partner got two scoops. The second scoop is rice. We couldn't believe it and busted out the kitchen scale to confirm. Both had 10.6 ounces of fish and different amounts of rice. Also, the musubi ratio is too much rice to spam and the spam is sliced thin,...read full review

The Shaka Brah catered our wedding in Pacific City in August! Jake and his staff are wonderful and so kind! The food was delicious and the guests raved about all of it! Jake delivered it himself and it was hot and ready to serve! Another caterer had canceled on us unexpectedly that was closer to the Oregon coast. I was in a panic and I reached out to Jake. He was super responsive, very helpful and kind. He met with me in person, fed us delicous food and answered every single question...read full review

The Shaka Brah Cafe & Catering offers a variety of Hawaiian-inspired dishes, including Spam Musubi, Loco Moco, teriyaki chicken, and Korean barbecue beef. The food is moist, super flavorful, and outstanding, with generous portions that easily make two meals. Favorites like the Kalua pork with pineslaw and rice, topped with sesame sprinkle mix, are top notch. The mac salad and pineapple coleslaw are delicious—rich, sweet, light, and crunchy. The teriyaki chicken comes with extra sauce, adding even more flavor. Prices are reasonable, typically ranging from $30 to $40 for a satisfying meal. The friendly, relaxed service and huge portions make it the best Hawaiian spot in Salem, worth going out of the way for!
