“Went looking for an amazing coffee shop in Newport and after 3 busts, found a real winner! When we came in there was plenty of seating, amazing treats on display for purchase, seasonal crafted drinks and a menu that had something for everyone! I got the blended matcha and my husband got the seasonal stroopwafel drink. Both drinks were made to order and they took care with our special instructions. Items came out quickly and tasted great! Next time I’ll need to pick up a goodie to try. 1st times the charm here. UltraLife has become one of my go-to places in Newport. Such a gem in the Nye Beach area. Perfect location near the beach, public restrooms and other shopping. Thank you UltraLife for your great menu options other than flat coffees, teas, ect. ❤️So good and friendly staff too! Also, check out the cute gift shop next door, connected to the Cafe.“

“food and service were great but they charged a 10% fee for using a credit card. Oregon only allows a 3% fee and the establishment must post a notice that they charge a fee use credit/debit cards. and that notice must be visible for all who enter that establishment.“

“Some of the best coffee and breakfast around. Prepare for a wait because it is one of the busiest spots and you'll be fine. These folks hand make the food (and, of course, the coffee) to order, so you know it's gonna be extra good.“

“It took about 10 minutes to walk from the Inn. I made a reservation for 5:30, and it wasn't too crowded, probably because it was raining in November, so I was able to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. All the appetizers look delicious♪“

“This is the place for a doughnut, cookie or brownie. Besides having delicious chocolate and maple flavors, the bakery creates amazing flavors like German chocolate, cherry cheesecake and Smores doughnuts just to name a few. You never know what might be in the case the next time you come but you can bet it will be delicious! Just having amazing doughnuts, cookies and brownies isn't enough, the Mermaid has homemade soups! Look for the freezer and pick yourself up some soup. The depth of flavor they have is fabulous. A true comfort on a rainy day! Check Facebook for their daily offerings. Stop by sometime. You'll be glad you did!“
