We got there about 10 min till opening but there were people at tables already so when we tried to go in we were informed that the bar was technically closed still. We ended up waiting outside instead until 3. Seemed like we could have just remained at a table inside for that time but no big deal as they had a covered area with tables outside.“

Our server was very knowledgeable about every part of the menu and explained it thoroughly. Really cool pronunciation of all the menu items (I butchered everything 😂) The food: OMG, the food! We shared a margherita pizza and a seasonal polenta appetizer —it was fresh and amazing. I had the seasonal mushroom ravioli with a truffle cream sauce. My partner had the squid ink pasta. His parents each had one of the chicken dishes. We then shared two chocolate forward desserts. We left stuffed and happy. Our server kept apologizing for the speed of service but we were very happy to just chill out and visit and enjoy it all. My partner and I look forward to returning and enjoying this establishment again as a couple. I highly recommend it!“

“We have gone to Tiger Mama several times and it's always good. Most recently we went with a big group of friends to celebrate lunar New year. The food and service was excellent .They were super accommodating to our group and split up all our bills which was super nice. I highly recommend the chicken wings, but everything I've had is good.“

“We were there right after they opened at 10. Cesar was very friendly. Made sure we were doing good. Then the owner was very nice also. Stopped in to catch the first half of the Seahawks game and Cesar had not problem changing the channel. Very clean place and looks very nice in there.

This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends. “I have been eating here since it opened and even before when Taro was at Mame. Even back then, I was blown away by the quality of the food and the intention with which it is made. Superb. I feel so fortunate that food of this quality is available in Eugene. Eating the nigiri here always makes me super happy and satisfied. It makes any girls’ night or birthday feel extra special. Just found out Sundays and Mondays are easier to get a table here so will be coming back on those days more often.“
