“I’ve been coming to this bar for about 2 years now and I’ve never experienced a more inclusive and welcoming place than here! The food is great and the people…. Are amazing! They host so many different and engaging events , it’s hard to decide what to do! Drag bingo is a great night of family fun and the burlesque shows are very entertaining. I cannot recommend enough if you’re looking for a super chill but friendly vibe- this is it for me“

“Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior camouflage, this joint is serving up the most delicious and best value bar food in Eugene, in a sparkling clean authentic dive bar atmosphere. The Rusty Sliders are familiar to those who frequented the original iteration of Laurelwood Pub, and the side salads are so gorgeous you will be forgiven for imagining you are in a bougie bistro.
Make sure you ask about daily specials (the vague waitress didn't clue us in) and always ALWAYS order the cheesecake on Fridays. We will be regulars now, especially when the new Ducks football season starts.
Excellent tap selection and even better pricing. A few in my party mentioned they would like to see a couple of local wines vs the basic stuff available but perhaps they are in the general minority.“

“Had the Pub burger with Havarti cheese and fries. The burger was cooked the way I had asked for. The waitress was friendly, but when I asked for a refill on my soda, she never mentioned that they charge full price for a refill of soda. If knew, I wouldn't have asked for another. Please let customers know so they know what to expect on the bill. Other than that, I was happy with my visit.

“Wonderful dining experience outdoors, good food. My only concern were the worn carpets indoors that could use a change, I would not choose to eat inside due to the unpleasant smell. I was not the only customer to notice this. Otherwise everything else was very nice.“

“I didn't have any of the food, maybe next time... This was my first visit and omg.. the bartender's were phenomenal, it was Amber and another lady.. I highly highly recommend shooters if you're looking for some place to consume some alcoholic beverages..... Atmosphere, employees, and patrons make this place pretty phenomenal..“

“I stopped by Max's for a beer with a friend. Cheap and from the tap. Bartender was friendly although she seemed to not want to be helping me. The whole vibe there was a bit grimey, which I guess is okay for college aged people. It wasn't really my kind of place, but it was quiet and comfortable and cheap.“

“We came here on a Sunday late morning to watch the Ravens vs. Bears NFL game and had the best time! Our bartender Sam was absolutely fantastic - she was runnin’ this place! All the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and on top of their game. The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere of mainly regulars was a very fun one to be a part of. Will absolutely come again!“

“I work right next door to them at Made By You and I called asking permission to park in their lot because I kept getting street tickets. They were so kind and said yes! Not only that but today I adventured in to have some of their food. I had bariatric surgery and my food options are super limited. They made me something completely off menu that fit my needs. It was AMAZING! My partner said his hamburger was the best he has had in town. The people in there are so kind and we had awesome conversation. There was no other customers in there this morning. I got to say- you guys are missing out. Give them a try.“
