This Rhaan Thai restaurant is near Thurston, in Springfield. It's a gem of a place. I understood last night from "Guy" (spelling?) that they've been running the restaurant for the last 8 months. I loved my experience there and will be back! It's definitely the best Thai I've had in the this area, including taste, texture, temperature, service & environment.

The ambiance felt perfect for a relaxing outing, a romantic evening or special celebration, in my opinion. It felt like just the right atmosphere for anyone that feels uplifted by vibrant color, flowers, spaciousness, friendly service, and waterfall scenery, with low to moderate sounds and a classy setup with tablecloths.

The salmon with vegetables was perfect with the broccoli substitute for the eggplant. The heat retained exceptionally well to the last bite, with comfortable conversation in between leisurely tasty morsels. It was delightful for a congratulatory celebration with a special person last night and made our evening feel some added peace & positivity, with our reunited time together after 6 months.

“My adult children, young grandbaby, and myself came in to eat Saturday morning, and it was very busy, but the food was excellent and very creative and most importantly recipes that you may not have gotten to try for a while. The beignets were phenomenal and having said that those alone are really worth the trip. Staff was very pleasant and they were quite rushed, but made sure you got everything you needed! So we did today before a Dr. appt. we had a sandwich and some yummy potatoes. we had a Cuban sandwich. it was very good too. we particularly enjoyed the decorations of old logging pictures and log pictures. We spoke with. the manager was such a nice person and took time to visit with us.. The food was good and delivered to our table. the restaurant was very clean and we will for sure be going back. “Hop Valley is a good spot to unwind. The food and drinks are good but could use a little finesse. The Nachos were ok and the spicy margarita was interesting. I wish they used fresh jalapeños and gave you sides of sour cream and hot sauces. Usually a good spot off I-5 to eat but they've made it a little difficult to reach. I'll definitely be back!“

“This has got to be one of my top favorite places in the area for high end, delicious food. Every bite was sensational! We started with the Salmon Crudo, I could honestly eat 5 plates of this and have been dreaming about it since. Next we had beef and rice balls which were perfectly crispy on the outside and flavor was off the charts. My husband had the dungeoness crab pasta and I had the duck - both were incredible. Cocktails were great too, and the service was fantastic. 10/10“

“This is surprisingly the best Indian food in the area! I cannot stress that enough! I've tried all the places (this place is tied with Arekie but that's an Indian fusion) and this small cart run by amazing Indian people just blows them out of the water. My wife lived in India and says their naan alone is the best she has ever had in America. She had Tika Paneer and I had the Tika Masala, both were superb! The only thing that was eh was the chai, but my wifes a chai snob and home made chai is very labor intensive, so it's not surprising, but with the amazing food she was hopeful for a thicker, pepper, spice chai from the North. This is hands down my new place for birthdays (are you open January 1st?) Father's Day and whatever other reason I can come up with. A+++++++“

It was very crowded due to the large number of my fellow veterans but the staff had things planned out and made everything work. Our server was Chris Stapleton, an assistant manager.
