“Easily the best burger in the metro area. They make a smash burger but like anything in Portland. That is not true. It is an almost smash burger more like a pressed burger does not have the lacey char or anything that makes a good smash burger. Also second best burger in Oregon. Junkyard is better. No this burger does not compare to smash burgers in Los Angeles.“
“What an absolute gem! I love everything about Turkey Place ? I stopped in for a coffee, breakfast burrito, and to return a bunch of emails. I left feeling so content that I took a lovely walk around downtown afterwards. The staff are so stunningly fantastic and sweet, the breakfast burrito was yummy all the way through, the coffee was hot and tasty, the shop is so perfectly laid out and clean, and watching the staff interact with regulars was a beautiful experience that I'll treasure forever. “My girlfriend and I popped in here on a walk around the neighborhood the other day and got some chicken noodle soup and cheesecake to go. We had the soup for dinner and it was delicious...but let me tell you about the cheesecake! We just tasted the cheesecake now, and both agree this is the best cheesecake we've ever had! Excellent! Cannot wait to get it again!!!!“
“Really good bagels. Comparable to a New York bagel. Good cream cheese. They were out of ever it hung bagels so I'll have to come back. Settled for a salt bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese. Delicious. Nice and chewy with a slight crunch. Smoked salmon cream cheese was yummy too.“

“This is an OG Portland business going strong since 1978. If you like your cold cuts nitrate free and cut to order, then this is the place for you. Be sure to grab a number and a basket near the door before heading back to the meat counter! It's a small place, with a European feel. Bring some patience if you go on a Saturday. It takes time to slice orders, but there are also at least five or so staff to help you. Just breathe it in... literally, because it smells so good! They have delicious cheeses and breads, Milka chocolate (and other goodies), and a small selection of locally made desserts. There is a sit down area for eating the various sandwiches and sausages they offer from their deli. Cold drinks are on hand, even coke from Mexico with real sugar. Wines and beers are available as well. Do not come here if you are looking for low fat or vegan options! You have been warned. Everything I have ever tried from Edelweiss has been top notch.“
“It's our local neighborhood go to.. for us that are 21 & older only, type establishments, with in walking distance close by our home. Weather or not we're there with a little, or a lot of cash to play the lottery, eat, or just to purchase a pack of cigarettes. We are treated kindly, every time. “This is a quaint, little, unassuming place to eat. If my friend didn't take me here, I wouldn't have noticed it at all! But it's got a nice view of the river, pretty clean, and quick service. Nice owners, and the cook was really good. Definitely worth grabbing a quick bite when you're in a crunch!“
“A total slice of SoCal! Came in for lunch on a cold blustery day and was pleasantly surprised to find the Beach Hut living up to it's name. Felt warm and inviting, from the folks at the counter to the beach decor. There is an excellent selection of food and drinks and my Hobie sandwich was absolutely delish! My partner and I both lived in SoCal in earlier years and we both totally felt transported as we sat in the back section with the private booths that each have a surf board for a table and even your own tv and remote.“
