“Busy lunch spot, and very clean. I went here because multiple people in the office were talking about how delicious their food was. Came here for a large order and the staff let me know how they prepared their sandwiches and were able to bag my order super speedy! Tuna sandies for satiating protein and a perfectly dressed Tuscan kale were our favorites.“

“Perfectly bare-bones cafeteria with lightning service, probably good for a quick break. I had the bulgogi bowl first which was ready in 1 minute, and quality flavor..next day I crawled back for the best sourdough turkey sando of my life..just a straight line from my house to a SOLID food option😇“
“John's Marketplace is my favourite place to go. Awesome beer selection, good food, and owned by some awesome people. I also appreciate that the Hall Blvd location has a dog friendly patio.“

“Even though I travel the world touring with "my" artists, this was my first time in Portland, Oregon. Our friends booked us a personal guide (Adam Thorn Smith, highly recommended! ) who showed us around and made Yelp even sent us a message on the day like "wow - you know how to explore all hot spots on one day". So after the Japanese and Rose gardens, we took a first bite here at Henry Higgins, which was very good. I liked the ambiance, and the lady at the checkout was nice - just as you would expect from a place you go to ;-) I prefer places with tableside service - but we loved everything we had - and yes, I would even use the word great for their bagels. I will not understand, though, why my breakfast sandwich with a toasted bagel, cheese, egg, and meat and a small bag of chips was cheaper than my wife's same bagel with cream cheese and egg salad (no chips, no cheese, no meat). I generally also have a problem when places do not offer any service but take my order and make me pick up (= "over the counter-service" only), suggesting to tip the same amount as if I were in a full-service restaurant, particularly when they had charged restaurant prices in the first place ($6 for a coffee, $11 for a regular, toasted bagel with cream cheese and egg salad). Again, we liked the place, even loved the bagels, would come back - but to rate five out of five stars, "surprises" would have to be on the positive rather than negative side.“

“Excellent authentic German food and drinks. Can't go there without getting a Leberkässemmel (roll with hot Leberkäse and mustard) for the road!“

“I've come in there several times . Never really feeling comfortable because most of the employees are busy visiting with regulars and people they know They might offer you something to drink once in a while. Until ERICKA !!! She gives excellent customer service (this 5 star rating is for her) I was in there the other day and she was calling every single person by name. She us wonderful. You are very lucky to have her as an employee. I hope your paying her a decent wage because if not I would snatch her up in a heartbeat . She gives excellent customer service. I guarantee you that she is what brings alot of your business in. Thank you Erika for making me feel welcome!“
“My brother and his wife live in Beaverton and usually bring European delicacies for tea/family gatherings that they get from this deli. The food is always fresh and delicious. Today they brought me lots of different deli meats, bread, candies and my favorite Oliver salad. All were very tasty and FRESH. I can see why this is their favorite store for Russian goodies--“

“If you're visiting Portland, you should definitely come by, take it from this NYC commuter and NJ native, the owner cares about the food and the service, the food is phenomenally good, and the prices as of writing are fair for generous portions. This place is it, especially if you are in the mood for a turkey sandwich of some type!“

“The pork enchiladas had lots of shredded pork and very cheesy an I love cheese. They weren’t drowning in the green sauce. The best I’ve had in a very very long time.“

“I'm a weekly regular here, typically working for 2-3 hours per visit, and the experience is consistently exceptional. My go-to order is the chicken shawarma paired with the morning brew boba milk tea, and both are absolutely delicious. The shawarma stands out particularly because of the fresh-cut vegetables—I've never left a single bite uneaten. The atmosphere is perfect for getting work done, with soft music that creates a pleasant ambiance, and even the restroom is impressively clean and easily accessible—a detail that speaks to how well this place is run. What impresses me most is how reliably excellent everything is, visit after visit. The new management has been doing an exceptional job maintaining this high standard. I can't recommend this place highly enough.“

“Consistently great food, good prices, good portions, and friendly faces.
Don't sleep on the sandwiches. They are made with just the right proportion of ingredients and some sort of secret sauce that ties everything together. Great sandwiches.“
“I really love going to this place for breakfast when I am at work. Greenleaf has amazing hot and cold food they make on request. One of my favorites is the burger bowl . They also have a ton of other things like snacks and drinks. You can get a full meal for under 10 dollars here which is pretty much impossible these days. The owners are also some of the nicest people !“

“The owner is the absolute sweetest, they weren't too busy for midweek lunch time, so that was nice.
I got the Chicken Katsu, and it's was enough for two people holy wow. It looked like two breasts worth of meat! I took half home.
Very reasonable price for the amount of food given.“
“Finally some new employees! Kim is a wonderful and very clean employee! I can tell she likes her job and is very wonderful at customer service. I recommend coming here when she works. I have seen her in the afternoon shifts usually around 6pm. Don't forget to tip!!“

“None of us go here for food we all know that... I come here to be charged to push buttons. Excessively, in all ways I would hope that word explains. The noise... Well it depends on how much I have lost if I've lost a lot that I'm hitting the button like with anger and a closed fist.. and well, some people would say it's quite noisy but never really have wavos to tell me. I'm just hitting your button with like sledgehammer sounds I don't actually have a sledgehammer. sledgehammer like peace i“

“My first time experiencing this gem of a place. I came to perform music on thier great live music stage, and went in to grab a sandwich before my band the "Desert Moondogs" started playing. I have lived in New York for many years and experienced the best deli sandwiches there, and was beyond surprised and happy with the Tigard Beach Hut Deli offerings. By far the best deli on the West Coast and even rivaled some of my favorite places in New York. If your anywhere near this eatery be it for food or music, make a stop...you won't be disappointed!
