Feels like you’re sticking your face into a bee hive, that’s been smoked out with a bushel of lavender. Then go take a walk on the beach, and try to keep the sand out of your eyes and ears. “The only reason we come to the aquarium is for the cafe, great food, great prices, friendly staff, never really busy. Husband loves the fish tacos, I enjoy the turkey sandwich. Great fries. Big meal portions. This place is a hidden gem, nothing fancy, just good local place, not a tourist trap.“

“This is the place for a doughnut, cookie or brownie. Besides having delicious chocolate and maple flavors, the bakery creates amazing flavors like German chocolate, cherry cheesecake and Smores doughnuts just to name a few. You never know what might be in the case the next time you come but you can bet it will be delicious! Just having amazing doughnuts, cookies and brownies isn't enough, the Mermaid has homemade soups! Look for the freezer and pick yourself up some soup. The depth of flavor they have is fabulous. A true comfort on a rainy day! Check Facebook for their daily offerings. Stop by sometime. You'll be glad you did!“

“It took about 10 minutes to walk from the Inn. I made a reservation for 5:30, and it wasn't too crowded, probably because it was raining in November, so I was able to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. All the appetizers look delicious♪“
