“Disclaimer, I didn't eat the food myself as I'm plant based. Dennis and Auntie makes it homey. When I look at the pictures and food, it feels authentic and rich, yummies families eat. Portions are great. Definitely smells tempting while I'm enroute to deliver these. Ordered BBQ pork skewers for my Greek friend and he can't stop raving about it. He asked me to get more for him on his birthday. Got the pork adobo for another friend. OMG! Delicious! He's a born and raised Louisiana chef so quite judgy when it comes to food. Definitely, ordering some dishes for my visiting family!“

“Classic American diner. Great food! The perfect breakfast. Bacon and eggs the way you want them. The pancakes are fluffy and I can't imagine finishing that giant stack of fluffy pancakes, all for a great price.
This place is unbeatable for a classic American small town breakfast. Awesome friendly service. 10/10. So good I had to buy a shirt.“

“It’s still so hard to rate Chinese food after eating at Kwan’s for so many years, but China Gourmet is a wonderful hidden gem in north central Salem. The service is great and the restaurant is cozy yet small. The food is delicious and flavorful and was fresh and hot. Pot Stickers were amazing. So was the Kung Poa Chicken and the Garlic Sauce Chicken. BBQ Pork fried rice was as expected and we will try a different fried rice next time.“

“My first time here. I showed up less than a half hour before they closed. They streamlined the sample process for me and I walked out with a delicious selection of MY choosing. 6 bottles for 71$.....11.83 per bottle. I was happy with the price for the quality of the wine. I like the fact that there is a ramp to the entrance if the stairs are challenging. The thing that I like most about this winery, besides the wine and the staff friendliness is the location! Close enough and tasty!“

“Came on Sunday morning about 8:15. No problem parking my van on street right in front of door. There was no one else parked on the block. Love the outdoor tables with my dog. They are spaced well apart, as is the inside seating.
16 oz hot Americano, quiche Lorraine and a lemon blueberry scone. Everything was delish. I’ve been here now 4-5 times while working with my K9 in the area. Experience has always been the same. Fantastic. It can be crowded, not helped by people ordering and standing there talking to staff while the line queues up behind them. Maybe some staff training on how to move people along nicely. As a former bartender, I always found a polite “excuse me, I need to help the next customer” was enough of a hint to move them along“

“Westside is without question the best taphouse in Salem. Great variety of beers, ciders, and wines that skew PNW local. Almost always something new and unique to try. Small selection of cans & bottles to go. Friendly staff & nice atmosphere. Year round outdoor seating as well.

“Had unfortunate experience at Lancaster location this morning. Employees were more interested in visiting with the person in front of me than taking my order. Even after getting her drink she did not move. Several people came out of the building and it appeared they were also going to talk with the customer. I won't be surprised if they didn't laugh when I drove away“

“If you’re on the hunt for mouthwatering, authentic barbecue, Roger That BBQ is a must-visit. From the moment you pull up to the location, the smoky aroma of slow-cooked meats draws you in like a magnet. This place is all about honoring the art of the smoker, and it shows in every bite. The brisket is phenomenal. The pulled pork melts in your mouth, and the ribs are fall-off-the-bone perfect. The Prime Rib Dip is exceptional and cooked to perfection. And what I consider the hardest meat to keep juicy, a chicken breast, is delicious to the last bite. Our family never passes us an opportunity to take home several wimpy burgers for later. Roger, Danielle, and all the staff are serving up food with care and passion for the smoker’s art. “Where to begin? The location looks great, and it has a good vibe to it. The customer service is top notch, my server was very nice and even put some special attention with a message on our anniversary order bag (very sweet!).
Now the food. The flavor on the beef ramen is fantastic. The beef is tender, the noodles are cooked perfectly and all the veggies tasted fresh. The Takoyaki here has to be some of the best in Salem. I also tried the fried chicken bun for the first time, great flavor, soft bun and crispy chicken in the middle.
My wife ordered the chicken stir fry ramen, fresh veggies, fried chicken all tasted amazing.

“The absolute best Iced Mocha I've ever had. And I've been having speciality coffee for 15 years and I buy a lot. I was going for a 2nd, but by the time I was going to swing back by...the Building was about to close. That just says how much the coffee is GOOD. No doubt I'll be back. “Daytime is very different than night,their food is no joke delicious,So Wednesday I went at night and it's a live jam along band then During the daytime it's a working people atmosphere,jukebox play anything and everything?.Ordered some of their Beer Battered fries,the price alone was deliciously cheap!!?.,On Thurs only at night they had 2 real djs playing classy 90's 80's classics country and REAL bass dance music, I don't go out much but this place worked out nice,Hope to come back soon!??

“I had a turkey sandwich & it was very good. I love my fries VERY crispy. And even though I asked for that, they weren't at all. BUT! Everything else was great. Coffee was excellent!
Kid-friendliness: Yes, lovely ambiance, & quiet.
Wheelchair accessibility: It might be a little tricky to wheel between tables. The booths do not have room for a wheelchair at the end of a booth, but open tables are available. Also, they have outside seating, & can start a fire if it's cold. But it's not enclosed.“

“I recently visited Dutch Bros, and it was a fantastic experience! The drive-thru was quick, and the staff was incredibly friendly and energetic. They really know how to create a welcoming atmosphere with their upbeat vibe.
The menu offered a wide variety of drinks, from classic coffee options to unique flavored smoothies and energy drinks. I tried one of their popular cold brews, and it did not disappoint—rich and refreshing!
The only downside was that the line can get long during peak hours, but it's definitely worth the wait for a quality beverage. Overall, Dutch Bros is a great spot for coffee lovers looking for a lively and enjoyable experience!“

“On the 6th of April I was having a particularly difficult day. You see my husband has stage 4 small cell cancer. I was struggling to maintain and your staff was so gracious in their caring not even knowing what I was upset about. 💔 They did help my day . I do hospice work and still had angels to go see. The guys and gals helped give me that extra to keep going. I thank you all. I can get good coffee almost anywhere but it is the staff that makes yours great.“
“We are huge brewery people and know our beer, and Sparky’s was recommended for us by a friend when we were traveling for our son’s basketball over the holidays. This place did not disappoint. “I’ll say that I’ve been to this location a few times whenever I’m able to stop by and I always have good experiences here. Drinks are always good and consistent, but today the incredibly nice and funny girl taking orders outside was amazing! “I ordered the Greek salad and it was absolute perfection! The meat that they use is absolutely delicious. I will be back for the salad again! My boyfriend always gets the super gyros and he has no complaints. Also, he has ordered the loaded fries multiple times and loves them. Food quality is great, fresh and everything taste delicious.“
