02/13/2024: We went in tonight for a late dinner and were so impressed by the service that was provided by our waitress, Paige, and our cook, Mike. They made us feel so welcome and the Club Sandwich and Bacon Cheeseburger we ordered were phenomenal. Nice little Cafe in Vale. Very nice to be able to stop here after driving a couple hundred miles on highway 20 where there is virtually nothing. Biscuits are outstanding and so is the pie! Little local local joint where it's common to hear the servers greet customers by their first name. A must try if you're passing through!

The food is ok but over priced. I don't really like going here to eat. I would rather cook then eat here. Since this post, I have come to work here and put a fire back in this Cafe. The food is really good with lots of menu items that have great reviews. Our chicken fried steak is amazing and our best seller. Our Reuben has been stated to be one of the best in the country. The omelets are a house specialty and people come from miles around just to have an omelet.
