“For being connected to a gas station they have good food. They offer a variety of food. Pizza is good. I like the salad bar. One side of the restaurant is family and the other side is a full bar. Lots of TV to catch your favorite games and video poker machines. Staff are friendly and don't forget people. We saw a couple of what appeared to be regulars and the staff treated everyone like you were a regular also.“

“You have to eat here. If you like Thai food, this is got to be one of the best. We've eaten there every time we've gone to Astoria, Oregon and absolutely love it. Food is always fresh and delicious 😋. Prices are between $12-$20 generally.“

The guy behind the counter asked if I wanted to add anything spicy, and was delighted when he threw in a cup of chilero. Warming, tasty and just what I needed to get through the rest of the day. “Hands-down the best fish n chips! The fish is crispy on the outside without being oily, and tender and juicy on the inside. The chips are delicious too. Really good tartar sauce as well. There has been a line every time I’ve gone but it moves and the taste and quality of the food certainly makes up for it. You have to find street parking and I’d recommend walking across the street to find a bench and enjoy the food with a view of the water.“

“Amazing. We were told if you go to Astoria go and try the fish n Chips from this one place but they sold out and so we saw this place and we were so glad we did. Hubby had the Philly cheesesteak and I had the fish n chips, we both shared the awesome bowl of claim chowder. FYI they have the best tarter sauce“

“We stumbled across this spot while traveling to Canon Beach. There was a street market happening at the time and we stopped here after we were finished browsing the market. It was a beautiful day, so the taproom had their roll up door open and there were several food trucks in the courtyard area. Had a local beer and enjoyed the outside area. Overall it was an awesome stop during our travels.“

“I really enjoy getting my drinks from this Astoria Growler Guys. The service is excellent. Staff is friendly and have great knowledge. I travel from Hillsboro to refill with them. If you have time to sit and enjoy your drinks. Do so. There are a few seats inside and nice space outside fire pit. With picnic tables. There are two food trucks too.“

“Fantastic food and some of the best customer service i've ever had! Good job guys. My only complaint is sometimes when we go there, we get a bad cook. The food is dry and not very flavorful. It's hard to complain when you're there because you don't try the food until you get back home. We live over thirty minutes away. It's good enough to keep coming back in hopes we get the good cook.“

“I’ve never been to such a cool wine bar. The owner was just as cool to match. This whole pier is really historical and even has a little museum of the cannery. Felt like the perfect Oregon spot to spend the evening. Really loved this gem!“

Sadly not that many vegetarian/pescatarian options. Most dishes are with beef, pork or chicken. There are a few options with shrimp or tofu.

“We are from Tacoma, WA area, but any time we head to Oregon there are 2 things we try to do every time, and that is the Cathlamet Ferry and Dee Dee Thai! Both are consistently awesome! This time we had the satay, mango curry, BBQ chicken and mango dessert - all of them were fantastic! We bought more than we can eat so we could have some the next day. Wow, the mango dessert is great for breakfast! Green rice? So delicious! (I think it may have some lime flavor). Can't wait to go back!“

Our waiter, Patrick was so wonderful and attentive and even when I left my wallet there he and the manager kept it safe for me till the next day!! 10/10 recommend for quality food and staff!“

It's SUPER AWKWARD to have your servers bring the bill on a kiosk, stand in front of you while you're paying and say “It's just going to ask you a few questions” referring to the tip section. Then you're given three options, starting at 18%. Please stop doing this—it ruins what is otherwise a good experience. With that said, the beer is fantastic, the pizza is very good and the overall vibe of the place is lively. A fun place to hang out. Service is spotty. It's the “hipster service” for the most part, but that's what you get on the Coast.“

“On the way back home from grocery shopping at the Astoria Food Co-op, I was craving a good, juicy burger.

Since my roommate had eaten a burger from there the other night and it looked delectable, I was craving one of their burgers.

It didn’t seem to matter that I just spent quite a few dollars on wonderful food. I wanted that burger. Badly. Enough to brave the traffic going back home.

I ordered a Swiss cheeseburger with the works: sauce made of ketchup and mayo, onion, lettuce, tomato and there may have been pickle on it, I’m not sure.

I ordered regular fries and brought it all home.

OMG…! The cheeseburger was juicy, thick and altogether yummy… the french fries were probably the best I’ve had in many years.

I forgot to take a photo of the food because I was hungry and couldn’t wait to eat it.
I plan to go back at least once a week… it was that good.“

“Both the hotel and the restaurant were great! We just needed a nice comfortable basic room for a night and they had it! Easy reservation, check in and out all from the phone. And the pub was great! Fish and chips were ON POINT and tuna melt and fish tacos were all really good. Service was excellent. Vibe was super chill compared to Long Beach/Astoria and a great views of all the action at the Harbor, and the sports on the tv inside! Nailed it. Definitely coming back thanks Salt!“

We had been boating and fishing in Astoria, Oregon, and we decided to buy strawberry milkshakes at Dairy Queen as we headed to Canon Beach, Oregon. The store was clean and well-maintained and the strawberry milkshakes were delicious. Thank you, Dairy Queen, for providing us with our milkshake refreshments.“
