“Hi, I have been a customer at this location for years. I know that there is a lot of foot traffic and people here daily, but I have noticed lately that the place just looks overall dirty. Floors need mopping, tables have crumbs on them, napkins not filled, bases of tables looked dirty. You all charge quite a bit for your coffee. You need to spend some time cleaning your coffee shop. Not sure if there is new management?? not managing, but please do a little better cleaning. Mop your floors!!“

We actually ended up bumping into someone that we had met at church the day prior, so we enjoyed breakfast together--they had adequate seating on a typical, busy Monday morning. “Such a Nostalgic Cozy Blockbuster type setup!! Definitely one of my favorite places to go in Multnomah county! Sells icecream, shakes, coffee, and dvd rentals of course!! Folks at the counter are super kind and polite. They provide good advice for shake flavors if you’re unsure of what you want but have an idea of what flavor profile you’re trying for. Like I had wanted a pumpkin spice type shake and the employee gave me their advice of what flavors to combine and it was delicious. I just wish I lived closer.“

“This cute little spot is very hip (in the black metal seating and minimalism decor sort of way), very cute. I got the famed marionberry poptart which lived up to the hype. I got a season pistachio drink that ended up being a little too sweet for my taste (I was told it was slightly sweet but was surprised when it was full blown). Latte art was beautiful. The barista was wonderfully helpful and gave a full rundown of the offerings. This is not a work in a coffee shop sort of cafe. The tables are small yet cute. Better to plan for a short visit.“

“Pretty solid coffee with lots of fancy flavor options to choose from as well. I did not get to try the banh mi as I came in at 7 AM and was very likely the first person in.

I did try the donuts and while they weren’t terrible, They weren’t exactly what I expected when I see the word donut. They were dense and smooth and cool temp wise, lol I really can’t think of anything to compare them with!

The black sesame coffee was absolutely delicious, but there was a ton of grits left at the bottom of the cup.“

“This Woodstock gem is the only lasting foundation of old Woodstock (and maybe the Lutz tavern from way back?). Took my kids here in the 90's when they were little... Gave up coffee for a long while and recently returned for their wonderfully made 2 shot 12 oz cappuccino. A dash of cinnamon powder and all is right in this crazy world for a little while. The day the cashier/barista/o knew what I was going to order when it was my turn was practically the highlight of my year (along with other delightful ones, but this was really cool)! I couldn't wait to tell my now 30 something kiddos (the ones who ran around the place as toddlers) that I'm practically enough of a regular that they knew what I was going to order, made me fit to burstin'. And so yes, thank you Pappacino's for being a solid mainstay, 3rd space gathering place for the neighborhood. I always get my drink to go, but love seeing people sitting around tables chatting in groups or reading the paper or a book in the comfy chairs. Why don't these stars go to 11?“

“First time visiting this coffee shop. I'm sorry I didn't visit sooner. Was able to smell the great food, and see a toasted club sando being assembled. Out front a small sidewalk table with 2 eating small plates and large coffees. Inside were several small tables with a few customers reading and chatting. It was 1/2 hour before closing at 3:30pm. I ordered two med. Drinks to go. I was greeted promptly and waited a very short time. The coffee's were wonderful. The surprise was the many shaded tables for 4 out back on the patio. The prices are a great value nowadays as well! We're coming back often... No more corporate sugar chains....lol“

“I am a fan of Trung Nguyen for a little over 10 years. My parents drink this brand and I have been too for as long as I remembered. When the Orange County location opened, I was there. I also visited several locations in TPHCM. Now, they opened the top tier of franchise in Portland which is amazing. During the friends and family invite, I came and had a ca phe muoi. The architecture of the store was beautifully designed. The ambiance truly allows you experience a genuine coffee experience. The coffee, simply, delicious. Strong, bold, flavorful, the salted foam was a great balance between saltiness and sweetness. Although it is a franchise, it is a recognized brand and is authentic to they serve. This is for the all the Vietnamese coffee lovers!“

“A great small coffee and tea and food cafe in Milwaukie. Met a friend and we sat towards the back in some very comfy armchairs. I had a tasty Umbria latte and a slice of delicious quiche. Not especially busy so we sat and talked for 2 hours! Pleasant background music at a good volume. Free street parking.“

“I’ve been looking for a spacious and easy to reach cafe on the east side of Portland via public transportation for some time now, and I think I’ve found the unicorn of cafes that serve the tastiest non chain restaurant bagel and lox I’ve ever had in Portland. Generous portions of lox and chive cream cheese on a toasted bagel is a perfect companion to my iced mocha in the morning.

“I’m so happy and blessed to live in South Waterfront to experience Ovation. I love the customer service as soon as I walk in the door everyone says hello to me. Then it’s smiles for miles as I place my order. I sit down in some of the most comfortable chairs on the waterfront and suddenly she’s bringing me the most beautiful red cup of my cinnamon latte and soft and squishy veggie biscuit. The biscuit is full of well cooked, mouthwatering, pure flavor. I know they’re cooking with the finest ingredients because this is the best egg I’ve ever tasted. My latte is strong, so I ordered the half caff, and it tastes like a Paris, France experience. Ovation is such a dream. Go there! 🤩💕☕️🍳🇫🇷“
