“Mr Compadre (aka Señor Buddy) is part of an impressive parque de carritos in Fairview called the Fairview Fork. The facility includes ample indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, and even a stage for karaoke et al.

To the tacos, though. The carnitas tacos were delicious, everything sparkling fresh and the meat itself a mix of crisped edges and unctuous tender bits. I appreciated the radishes and plentiful lime wedges.

The unexpected highlight here was the chile toreado. In my experience this is usually a deep fried whole chile. At Mr Compadre they split a large jalapeño and sear it on the plancha with some onion petals and plenty of salt. The chile and onions soak up the glaze left by the carnitas. It was easily the best tasting chile toreado I’ve had, and now I am curious how widely their preparation differs. I guess I am fixing to find out.

“Joy Teriyaki is bomb dot com! It’s always cooked fresh and full of flavor. Portion sizes are always huge for the Chicken Yakisoba. Haven’t had any issues. Nobody in there around 11:30am for pick up. Plenty of parking outside. Tables are always clean and wiped down. Family loves the food too!”

The past 3 times I've ordered here I've had missing items when the delivery dropped it off. Other than that, the pizzas are always prepared excellently! The dough is fantastic”

“I tried to call to tell the manager what a wonderful job I believe they are doing, but no answer. Must be really busy. I bought a guacamole bacon burger like I always do and have been doing since they originally came out in about 2001-2002? Any how, my burger was not just thrown together but it was crafted with exceptional care. I appreciate not being handed a sloppy mess that gets all over everything. It was fresh and the service was excellent too. My drive thru Cashier was Gianina. Thank you for the delicious experience!”
