“I’m from Portland, but visit my mom often in Forest Grove. Whenever I’m in the area, I always drive by The Ace but never stop. Last night that changed and I’m so glad it did! Great food for a great price, cozy atmosphere and super fun staff! I can’t wait to go back again! The outdoor area looks so fun and I can’t wait to visit in the summer! “Excellent experience! Husband and I on a spontaneous quick get away. Staying in a local Hotel, and wanted a great meal without having to go sit down after a long drive. These guys filled that request! We especially enjoyed the fresh, made to order hot food.“

“Love this place, we come here every week. One thing. They changed the ketchup from Portland ketchup to what i assume is house made. Has a lot of apple flavor. Not a fan, brung back the Portland ketchup please!!! Other than that food is always fantastic!“

“Great place to go play pool! All Diamond tables. Definitely my go-to spot in Mac. They’ve got a solid seating area with booths, so it’s easy to hang out even if you’re not playing.
Food is what you’d expect from bar food, and it’s fairly priced. The atmosphere is awesome—everything looks clean and well put together. There is a decent size outdoor/smoking area too.
It can get pretty busy, so you might have to wait for a table if you go on weekends. I do think if they stepped up the food quality a bit, it would take the place to another level and bring in even more business. I wouldn’t mind paying a little more for better food, especially when you’re sitting and hanging out in the booths.“

“I love it here! not only is the vibe relaxed and welcoming. The employees are really keen on giving you suggestions of what to try and have even learned my plate l palate to help me broaden what type I beers I enjoy based on what I've experienced in the past. Becky and Alyssa are really well versed in the differences of the styles and regional flavors. love coming in here for a point or two or even to grab things for home. the varietals are unmatched.“

“Just passing through town and stopped for a late lunch. I sat outside since the indoor dining room was empty and didn’t seem inviting. I got garlic parm wings and a side of baked beans. They came out pretty quickly. The wings had some chicken gravy or similar on them which was disappointing since I prefer my wings to be crispy. Otherwise it was okay.“
