“A real hidden gem in the Bethlehem / Allentown area! This is a pleasant little diner with a traditional feel, great food and really good prices. Stopped in around noon on a Friday in April 2024 and didn't have to wait for a table. Service was quick and we had a very filling lunch of soup & sandwiches. Can get a little noisy inside, but this place is still definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.“

“Usually a good experience. Someone was putting out fake flowers and I got smacked a few times with no apology and the fake flowers were getting dust in the air while we were eating. The. We are waiting to pay and the same person squeezes by with more fake flowers and doesn't even acknowledge or say excuse me. Just be mindful to your customers. They are the ones that keep the small business going. Not sure if I will be back for awhile and I have been going here since I was a kid.“

“Two of the orders were mixed up, and we had to wait for different parts of their orders. They brought incorrect items that had to be switched. Felt very rushed. If they had waited to serve the orders when they were complete, it would have been a better experience. However, that being said, the staff was super friendly, the restaurant was very clean and food tasty“

“We were a party of 4, 2 of us were seated first. The server took our drink orders then came to take the drink orders of the other 2. She didn't greet them, just asked what they wanted to drink. Them she came back with the drinks and took the food order. One person in our party asked about certain ingredients in her food order because she has allergies. The server was guessing, the party asked for her to double check with the cook. She came back and had the information so the person ordered the food. She didn't come back to check on us but when she did come back, she brought the check....without even knowing or asking if we would order anything else. Two of us had dessert, which was delicious. The other people said their food was ok. When she brought the check we felt we were being rushed.“

“The food has gotten better since my last review 3 years ago, hats off to the cooks. Started going back this year, staff is great except still lacking in enough staffing diring busy times. Only thing upset about, I love there smoothies, when you order them to go, you get about half of what you get while dining in! won't be ordering drinks to go anymore!!!“

“Classic diner. Gigantic menu with all of your favorites. My scrambled eggs and ham were typical, nicely done, and served hot. The server was friendly. There is plenty of off-street parking. Whenever I am in Allenrown, I try to have breakfast here. I am glad the Trivet survived the pandemic.“

“Breakfast is great here. Portions are more than adequate and the homefries are cooked to buttery perfection. The Big Breakfast Country View Special is a ridiculous amount of food for a super reasonable price. It can get a little loud when it's busy but the food makes it worthwhile. The waitresses are always friendly and attentive too.Parking: More parking available to the left and behind the building.“

“I've only been here for breakfast on Sunday mornings and if you can beat the church crowds you'll come out ahead. THIS PLACE IS POPULAR! If you're on a time crunch and you go here at a typical meal time, you may find yourself waiting 20-30 minutes for a table. The food (or at least the breakfast) I had was very good and incredibly filling. The portions are huge by my standards so a to go box is always a must for me. Despite the crazy crowds I've experienced there, the server has always been polite and the food has always come out within 10-15 minutes at most. I travel 30 minutes to eat here with my daughter (Coopersburg is the halfway point).“

“Great service! I had scrambled eggs, sausage w home fries, usually whenever I go to dinners the eggs and sausages are really oily but not this time, and my fiancé had an omelette which he said it was good. And we ordered some French toast to share w fresh strawberries which was okay.Would I recommend this place? Yes I would ?“

“I went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The food was great and very friendly service! It’s a small place, but it’s nice and cozy! My new breakfast spot when I’m in Coopersburg for sure! Other places around the area are way too noisy for my liking.“

“I am so incredibly grateful for George, the owner of the Trivet. I went in with my three children, all under the age of four, the youngest being 3 months old. This was my first time taking the kids out to dinner by myself. Service and food were quick and great as always, but what really blew me away was about 2 hours later when George knocked on the door to my home. I had left my wallet at the restaurant. He took the time to drive to my house and drop it off. I didn't even know I left it behind. What an all around awesome individual! Thank you!!“

“Clean inside. Even the bathrooms were clean!... Kinda loud inside though. Since it's so small, things kind of echo. But it was a nice meal and our waitress was very nice.Parking: Too many cars on the street. We had to park up the hill and walk to the restaurant. About a half a block.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at New City View diner for breakfast with my husband, and we were thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, providing a lovely backdrop for our meal. The food itself was excellent; we both enjoyed every bite. Additionally, the coffee was exceptional, adding to the overall delightful experience. We'll definitely be returning for another meal soon!“
