“First time customer. Found them here on Google because of 4.5 reviews and close to home. Online menu is not correct with offerings and prices. We ordered on the phone and the worker was very pleasant and helpful. We ordered empanadas, a drizzle burrito and a mix burrito. For dessert we ordered chimichanga cheesecake. On arrival the worker was very pleasant. There is a 3% charge to use your card or tap. Food was average. Presentation was good and food looks very appealing. The drizzle burrito was good. Jalapenos made it spicy but it had too much rice in it as filler as opposed to more carne asada. The mix burrito didn't have any wraps or even shells and I didn't think I would have to ask for them and I didn't. The meat was very thinly sliced and grilled. It was good but underwhelming. Our empanadas..I ordered a 5 pack upgraded to 2 chicken/1 carne asada/1 pork/1 ground beef. We received 2 chicken and 3 ground beef. They were pretty. The wrap was nice. They were very greasy. The chimichanga cheesecake was good it was a slice of cheesecake wrapped in a flour tortilla then coated in cinnamon sugar. Overall it was good but could be better. They do have more items on the menu that's not online like birria.“

“I recommend that you double check your on line order before leaving the store. I ordered 2 bowls and the bag they gave me was 1 bowl and one burrito. Fortunately I checked before driving home and having to return. It took about 15 minutes for them to correct the order.“

“@halal_mexican is a hidden gem in Philadelphia that has some of the best HALAL Mexican cuisine that I’ve ever tasted. I love that I was able to find a Mexican halal spot. Pictured: -Flautas -Shrimp Chimichanga -Mini Corn on the Cob -Chicken Tacos -Steak Burrito Bowl My favorite item from there has to be the flautas. It’s a deep fried rolled chicken tacos served with pico de gallo and sour cream. Highly recommend this restaurant to all those seeking a tasty mexican restaurant with good service and halal food! “This was my second time here. I went a couple of months ago and I ordered the same type of tacos (cauliflower). The tacos this time were much more flavourful, had more sauce/seasonings. I also had the same margarita and it was also much improved.

I was there with a party of 8. Service was great and one of our party was running late. We weren’t rushed and were asked if we wanted to wait to order food, which I really appreciated.

Our party included meat eaters, vegetarians, and gluten free (celiac, not by choice). There were multiple choices for everyone. Everyone thought their meals were really good - and this is a crowd that frequents Mexican restaurants.

I have celiac disease and can tell within 30 minutes whether or not I got exposed to gluten. The server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options, from drinks to the food. I was assured that what I ordered had no cross contamination and they don’t put other items in the fryer that they use for tortilla chips. I had heard that they had stopped doing this a few months ago from an online review - but seems like they have a dedicated fryer for their chips again. I did not have a reaction!

The rooftop deck is beautiful and just a wonderful atmosphere. The entire restaurant though is thoughtfully decorated and the murals are gorgeous. Also really thrilled about supporting a local who clearly put a lot of thought into opening a restaurant here in East Falls and making it such a wonderful experience.“

“Our first visit. Friendly staff and prompt service. Huge plentiful portions. Horchata is excellent. Camarones al gusto and Filet de pescado both came with fries and toast. Taste is OK on both but the fries are soaked in the excess liquid from the shrimp and fish. Soggy fries are not permitted. Clean facility with plenty of seats and tables.“

“Juanita's has the best Mexican food in the area. All of their tacos and tostadas are excellent. the shrimp dishes are all great also, especially the camarones con crema. You can't go wrong here.“

“I have probably had some of everything on the menu!! I love the food! It's fresh and you can taste every ingredient that goes into it. I found this place via good ole Tik Tok! You really can't go weekend with whatever you get! However, there are a couple of things I noticed and I hope I'm wrong about the first one. The sauces do not taste as authentic as when I first started going. My chipotle sauce taste exactly like a sauce that I currently purchase from the market. Also, I ordered a quesadilla to go and it was extremely small. It was like a kids size!!!!! Whenever I've ordered a quesadilla while dining in they have been your average restaurant size! They were 3x2 inches! 😩 Not sure what's happening there but we will not be ordering those again. Unless of course you like hors d'oeuvres! I will not be doing take out again. I just don't want this place to do what some places tend to do and that's get you going there and then it becomes extremely commercialized and the quality of food changes. It is one of the Mexican places that I like where a grown man can eat and walk away feeling satisfied! Just don't get the BABY QUESADILLAS 🤣 TO GO! I still gave 5 stars because the food is pretty darn good! Simple menu, good prices, great quality and delicious food! But can you guys please make your own sauces or suggest the sauces that are authentic! I Know Those Sauces Changed!“

“Used to order their food through DoorDash before I moved. But now I just visit their establishment every Tuesday night right after a quizzo night in Mt. Airy. Not a lot of people so it's easy to find parking.

Don't really have complains since I only order carnitas tacos and they're still the bomb.“

“Los Jiménez catered two parties at my home and it has always been AMAZING! They were so incredibly kind and fast when taking the many orders we had from guests. “The best tacos I ever ate“

“I went around 9:30am for breakfast because I always walk by here and wanted to try it out. Their menu in person is accurate to what it is online. They also always have fresh fruit (typically mango and watermelon) , muffins, and parfait outside on the stand for easy grab and go options. I spent $9.71 for the spinach and cheese omelette that comes with potatoes and a slice of toast. The potatoes were actually salted really nicely and everything was good quality. The omelet could’ve been salted a little more but that’s personal preference. It came with tomato packets, butter, and strawberry jam packets. I would recommend. Also, I tried to order the horchata but the owner wasn’t selling any at the time but gave me a little sample from what she had left which was really nice. Looking forward to ordering that one day.“
