The owner was so friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience even better. He even gave us a free dessert that’s coming out this summer, and it was SO good. “@halal_mexican is a hidden gem in Philadelphia that has some of the best HALAL Mexican cuisine that I’ve ever tasted. I love that I was able to find a Mexican halal spot. Pictured: -Flautas -Shrimp Chimichanga -Mini Corn on the Cob -Chicken Tacos -Steak Burrito Bowl My favorite item from there has to be the flautas. It’s a deep fried rolled chicken tacos served with pico de gallo and sour cream. Highly recommend this restaurant to all those seeking a tasty mexican restaurant with good service and halal food! We stopped in here on a whim because it looked like a lot of people were going in and when I tell you, this was the most delicious food I’ve had in a very long time. Birra tacos , quesadillas, guacamole the beef stew it was just incredible! “If I could give it 10 stars I would. We have been to Don Estebon's 3 times now to eat and twice for takeout. This is withput a doubt the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The food is absolutely delicious and is always served quickly and hot. The waitresses are so friendly and accommodating. If you have'nt had the chance to go here I highly reccomend you do.“

“This is my favourite restaurant in jere. You won’t find better food to price value that will genuinely blow you away with flavour. It has an unreal atmosphere too and was super romantic for our date night. Will definitely be coming again.“

“Juanita's has the best Mexican food in the area. All of their tacos and tostadas are excellent. the shrimp dishes are all great also, especially the camarones con crema. You can't go wrong here.“

When I got there to pick up it was understandably busy and despite some really rude patrons the staff was lovely to everyone. When I got the food home it was amazing, we had chicken quesadilla, empanadas, an enchilada with shrimp and one with steak; mole sauce on both and it had a lovely little sweetness. “Open table is not operational at present. Small restaurant with limited seating. Would not get the traditional margarita again due to lacking in taste and was mostly ice. Tacos were tasty. Everything is ala carte. Nacho chips were mediocre, but we enjoyed the fire roasted salsa. We had attentive service.“
