The owner was so friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience even better. He even gave us a free dessert that’s coming out this summer, and it was SO good. “Found this place randomly when we searched for who has California burritos - wow have we been sleeping on Burrito Mix! If you go here - the Birria Pizza is a must order! So delicious and flavorful. The California burrito was also amazing, and the my husband said the flan was “elite”. Definitely will be returning. No photos because we were stuffing our faces.“

“@halal_mexican is a hidden gem in Philadelphia that has some of the best HALAL Mexican cuisine that I’ve ever tasted. I love that I was able to find a Mexican halal spot. Pictured: -Flautas -Shrimp Chimichanga -Mini Corn on the Cob -Chicken Tacos -Steak Burrito Bowl My favorite item from there has to be the flautas. It’s a deep fried rolled chicken tacos served with pico de gallo and sour cream. Highly recommend this restaurant to all those seeking a tasty mexican restaurant with good service and halal food! Thank you @halal_mexican for being so hospitable and accommodating. I’ll be coming back here next visit“

“We came upon this neighborhood gem by accident while in the area. Clean, friendly, bright and wonderful aromas of delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. We tried the fish tacos and the huevos con chorizo both of which were divine. Highly recommend!“

“They sell some of the best Nachos I ever tasted!! They taste as good as they make them look, I tried their competitions who was across the parking lot from them today since they were closed and they did not come close at all! The quesadillas are good too and I liked their colorful corn on the cob, but I mainly come here for their delicious nachos.“

“I can't believe I haven't wrote a review for y'all. This place hits the right spots. While the prices may be a lil high, you get high quality food with it. Everything seems homemade, there are slight differences in flavour once a while but it all tastes great. I'm a returning customer and plan on returning until this place or I don't exist anymore.

“Juanita's has the best Mexican food in the area. All of their tacos and tostadas are excellent. the shrimp dishes are all great also, especially the camarones con crema. You can't go wrong here.“

When I got there to pick up it was understandably busy and despite some really rude patrons the staff was lovely to everyone. When I got the food home it was amazing, we had chicken quesadilla, empanadas, an enchilada with shrimp and one with steak; mole sauce on both and it had a lovely little sweetness. We'll be back again!“

“Used to order their food through DoorDash before I moved. But now I just visit their establishment every Tuesday night right after a quizzo night in Mt. Airy. Not a lot of people so it's easy to find parking.

“Los Jiménez catered two parties at my home and it has always been AMAZING! They were so incredibly kind and fast when taking the many orders we had from guests. Many people came back for seconds (and even thirds) which tells you how good the food is. I definitely recommend if you are looking for delicious food and/or a fun way to cater your party!“
