“House of Thai is a hidden gem in Mayfair! The owners are wonderful people that treat you like you’re family! The atmosphere is calm & relaxing & intimate! I’ve been going here for years & they never disappoint. They’re consistent in the flavorful, freshness of their food! I ordered pickup through Uber eats as I haven’t had them in a while & Of course they still didn’t disappoint. They were so quick with making the food! It came fast & was packaged with care! It was warm & fresh & full of flavor! Truly a 5 star experience! I recommend EVERYONE try here! The owners are deserving of local business support as well! Thank you, I will be back again of course! “Lovely little restaurant.We were not planning to eat out this Valentine Day, but happenstance changed the day & we found ourselves looking for dinner.This location popped up on Google, so we headed over. From the outside it looks like any other, but inside it is so sweet! Woven tapestry table coverings, sculpture & paintings all around, soft music AND the sweetest staff!We had tea, appetizer, Gummlai Rice & a Fried Crab dish I forget the name of. Although the fried dishes were a bit too greasy, they were delicious & the rice was spot on. “The smell of food lures you in to the welcome atmosphere. I ate the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Chicken as my protien. If you are on a date this is perfect if both like spicy. I wasn't expecting the portion to be so big. Very surprising gem in Kensington. Nice chunks of chicken as well. I will be sure to try the mega popular soup when I return. After eating from this place, now the only Chinese food I will be eating is General Tso"s Chicken or Shrimp. “Rice was perfectly cooked and fresh, came with lots of fresh veggies, perfect amount of sauce. Udon noodles were also very good and perfect al dente. We also called 45 minutes ahead and told them we were far away, and the food was very hot when we got it so they definitely timed it well.“

I got the coconut soup, drunken noodles with tofu and shrimp as well as the lava cake with scoop of coconut ice cream on top. The flavors were incredible and diverse. “Asian Thai is the only Asian place I eat from in the area. It's good clean food. It is always nicely hot and packaged neatly. Whenever I get off of the road I eat from here. It's almost like a tradition. I love the General T's o tofu, the vegetable lo mein, and the veggie spring rolls. I get off the road in 2 weeks and I can't wait to order. Their delivery range is awesome as well.“

“Finally found a Thai restaurant nearest to me . While I don’t find the food authentic I do find it delicious. They charge extra for everything so it easy to run up your bill. While I like small portions, you may have to order an appetizer or extra meat to be fully. I started out ordering pick before dinning inn. Pick up time is accurate and food was hot. My dine in experience was great, nice small intimate dinning space. Staff were attentive and our food was hot when it arrived to our table. This is vegetarian paradise! Most meals have the option to have meat added. This is now my daughter’s favorite restaurant.“
