“We had STRUT cater an event this past weekend and we had a great experience. Taco theme for 40 people was the perfect amount of food and it’s all was delicious!“
“It may not have a trendy name but the food is very good at a fair price. That is what’s important, of course.
The interior was very unusual and curious. Most of what I could see was a big commercial kitchen. “What is going on here?” I wondered. On the way out I took their catering menu.
Besides the giant kitchen, there are several booths for eat-in customers. The clean ladies’ room had a collection of vintage hats on the walls. There were several artifacts/souvenirs from long past
Allentown fairs on the walls and in a showcase.
I called the decor Formica Chic.
We will definitely return to try some of their other breakfast and lunch menu items.
Their hours are 8 AM to 1:30PM every day except Saturday and Sunday.“

“Hi I went there today in Allentown pa. 11/19/2023. As I'm checking out I purchased 10 bags, the young lady packed the bag to where they were breaking before I could touch them. I politely say hey this bag is already torn , I'll need a new one. She looked at the bag sighed n continued to scan the items which is fine. After she gave me my total n I again said are you gonna hand me a bag this one is torn? She immediately with an attitude said you should have just told me ! I said I did tell you , you turned looked at the bag directly and sighed and continued to scan. She began attempting to argue with me about a freaking replaceable bag. I immediately stopped her in her mid attitude and told her no ma'am not with me. I went to the customer service which literally was across from her. I told the young lady she apologized and asked if she wanted to give me a bag I said no it's no longer about the BAG this young lady is disrespectful n I'm uncomfortable. So I went over to pay. She took my receipt and slid it behind her to the counter n literally slid it more so I can pick it up. As I'm standing there!! You gotta be kidding me. I went back again the lady apologize but she seemed pissed now too n looked over at the cashier. So she said here's a manager. N I see the manger often working all through the store n she's always pleasant n I always speak n laugh with her. I explained my situation she said no way she apologized and said did you want me to scan the rest I said no ma'am she needs to do her job and learn customer service. She said the young lady's mother is the customer service manager as well do she'll let her mother know as well. I appreciate that. However this young girl is privileged having her mother as her supervisor, meaning this needs a larger attention! So it doesn't continue to others. I as a black woman shop there for myself and I do insta cart when I'm not nursing I'm a RN. I love the holiday season to help others who are seniors and can't get out or others with no transportation. I'm doing these batches 100 items $7 pay 8 miles! To help. My husband a black man also comes to help he's an executive in marketing in Manhattan. We do this to help n give back. I feel every time I enter Wegmans racially discriminated. Yes, smiles and all there's not a comfortable time when you see employees as if black customers are a bother! And that's unacceptable and this isn't the first time I came in last year and went through a 20 item or less not realizing it. And had a embarrassing moment in front of others by the older white women working up front . I came back in to grab something and they were huddled at my register and had the nerve to print out my personal receipt to count my items after the fact which was weird and unnecessary and unacceptable. I left a review and it was handled with respect by a manager. My point is this is not customer service by any means. Especially towards black shopper's. Now as I stood there with a manager the little girl had the biggest attitude as she checked and stuffed my bags. I later went to the parking lot and had to re bag and situated the items so the customers have Wegmans best looking produce and not tossed as she has done. I appreciate the time I hope it's looked in to the time was about 3pm. Ask and they'll know. Little blonde lady with a broom always cleaning and moving she's definitely the best. Thank you Desar'ee“
