“We have just tried Taste of India for dinner. We ordered different dishes for takeaway. It is hands down the best Indian food we have ever tasted. We were all happily surprised with how well prepared all the different dishes, especially the butter chicken. The bread basket was extremely delicious. We usually don’t like spicy food and I asked for “very mild”, and the restaurant delivered exactly that. I wish them all the best and I am glad we have them as a choice here in Altoona.“
“It was our first visit to this place. Many parking spots and a nice indoor area. Trivia night was going on so it was quite packed. The menu is versatile and beer selection is great. We had the burger which was well made, fries which were excellent, and Cobb salat which was ok (a bit small and the feta cheese was kind of blend). Service was great but we had some trouble getting help as we were ready to pay a leave. Overall, we will be back, maybe not on Tuesday though:)))“
“Criminally underrated food at every location. When I walked into this location I felt like I was looking at a 1980s list of prices. A burger for $5.20, sides for $3.65 but hot dogs being $2 is a more than other local spots. This is easily reconciled by quality. As soon as I related my order it was brought to me before I could even fully sit down. The service was faster than the cars that speed around the 12th avenue corner the shop is located on. My friend mushrooms were a undercooked in the middle but they had the batch fried up for me only 3 minutes later. I am never disappointed when I get hot dogs and Texas Mac“
“I went here to dinner with friends and my daughter who is 17 and has autism. Sometimes crowds and loud noises bother her. We did not have a wait to be seated. We were greeted right away by Cross, who happens to be one of the best servers that I’ve ever encountered! He was right there with drink refills and anything else we asked for. Our dinners came right on time, no long waits. He was friendly and we all enjoyed his company. He made our visit to this Olive Garden one of the very best! I definitely recommend this restaurant! I hope you’re lucky enough to get Cross as your server. We even got desert to go! We were stuffed but the line up looked so good, we couldn’t say no! Excellent service, excellent food!! My daughter also loved the evening. Nothing stressed her out, and she loved Cross too.“
“Wonderful Thai gem in Altoona. Very flavourful Massaman Curry and enough to provide dinner and lunch the next day with the rice! We ordered take out and the food was ready when promised. My wife has Gluten, Dairy and Sesame allergies and normally cannot eat from restaurants in Altoona. She enjoyed her Pad Thai very much and had no reactions. Authentic non-alcoholic drinks from Thailand were enjoyed as well.“
