“Rice was perfectly cooked and fresh, came with lots of fresh veggies, perfect amount of sauce. Udon noodles were also very good and perfect al dente. We also called 45 minutes ahead and told them we were far away, and the food was very hot when we got it so they definitely timed it well.“

“We love OOKA and travel almost an hour for our meals here. The cost is always high for our party of 6 so we reserve our trips. Food is always excellent and I have never had a complaint about any of our choices. We went last week for my son's birthday. Food was excellent as usual for all choices of sushi and hibachi. This trip though the floors were sticking to our shoes all the way through the restaurant. Restooms could use a good corner cleaning. And surprisingly, after the meal we had to get up and go to the counter twice to get service to finalize our visit. It was a weeknight so while it was busy it was not over packed when we were there. Still excellent food, just hope the service returns to normal next trip as this was not our normal experience here.“

“Their spicy tuna sandwich is sooo delicious! Love this place! I was celebrating my birthday on 11/22 with my aunt, who’s never been there before. She liked everything we had. So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. We couldn’t have had a nicer experience. We’ll be back much sooner next time.“

“The staff were very welcoming. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and relaxed. Music was beautiful and at a nice level. The menu is extensive. Something for everyone. “WOW!!! Just wow! Under new ownership! Ordered the Deluxe Rice Vermicelli meal for takeout it everything is so fresh! The shrimp size was very large and everything was just perfect!! The portion was very large. I spoke with the new ownership, and their focus is quality, not numbers. And my goodness did they deliver! The place is very, very clean and excellently maintained now. New chef, new staff, new everything. This is the best Vietnamese place in the area now. It really shows how the ownership is dedicated to the customers. Don’t go anywhere else - we tried all the places around here! This place takes the #1 spot. Amazing, well beyond the rest of the places around here, and fresh/clean! “I had the sweetheart roll, salmon avocado, and eel avocado rolls were fresh amazing. The atmosphere is cute for date nights and was informed it's BYOB. There's other non sushi items on the menu too. My friend ordered udons and it smelled delicious from across the table. Definitely adding to my list of Lansdale eatery.“

“A new sushi place that has spectacular sushi rolls, highly recommend trying it! All the food is delicious, the food is authentic and the prices are fair. I recommend ordering one specialty roll and one normal roll of sushi, as I think that’s where they truly excel, however the ramen is also top quality, and has many choices to try.“
