“I stopped by here to get a snack and use the bathroom. I got the boneless pork ribs (slices, really). It was juicy and tasty enough, albeit not extraordinary. The 2 sachets of "hot" sauce I picked up weren't even hot, but whatever. The can of soda was $1.35 ? Global inflation sucks.The ambiance was OK. Not too busy at that moment, and not much noise from the outside. The seats and tables were not sparkling clean, but clean enough that I wasn't grossed out. I'm a bit of a germophobe so I wiped my seat before sitting. Most of the seats are cushioned, which I really appreciated.Anyway overall the meal was pretty run of the mill, yet satisfying, so I left satisfied. “I used to be a regular to Umami and haven’t been back in a while, so I went back today for some lunch and decided to see if the quality has changed since a few years ago and wow was I surprised!! It’s the same if not better! They have great fish and their roll pieces are larger than any other sushi restaurant in the area!
