“I have been eating Hykel's hoagies for over 60 years and like to consider myself somewhat of an authority on the subject- I just had one today while watching the Eagles game. Pretty incredible to hold it together for that long! Order an American Hoagie- trust me on this - the perfect blend of meats and cheese, lettuce tomatoes and chopped onions, on a Conshy bakery roll. Still the one I compare to when testing any other hoagie . Regarding the score- I go to Hykels for a hoagie, I don't care about the atmosphere or service, not that it's bad, it's just not why someone would go to Hykel's Bar.“

“We just love our new family restaurant! We get treated like family everytime we go!!!! The atmosphere is so cozy and the staff is exceptional. And let's talk about the food - it's absolutely to die for! The portions during happy hour are perfect and the prices are so reasonable.

But the best part? Let me introduce you to DAVID! He's the star of the show - always attentive, funny, and he makes drinks like a true master! Whenever I go, I insist on being seated with David.

They made our anniversary so special and they truly care about their guests' experience. We feel so lucky to have this gem in the neighborhood. I'd travel far and wide for this level of excellence!

Oh, and I can't forget to mention my favorites: The Good Good Things drink, the Buffalo wings during happy hour, and the amazing cheesesteak! And my kids absolutely love the huge, deep dish, extra cheesy pizza.

Almost forgot the fresh house made potato chips!!!! So so so good!!! Don't skip them!

“Went in early Saturday night with a larger group of friends. They directed us to the small bar on the right of the entrance and we had a fantastic time. The service was great, our bartender was friendly and efficient. The drinks were DELICIOUS! My friends commented it was one of the best espresso martinis they’ve ever had!“

“I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“I haven't been here since the pandemic began. The food was good - typical of Center City casual lunch places. Burger was very good, so were the fries. Got to say the Wings appetizer with the dry rub used to be incredible.. Sometimes we'd go there just for the wings. But now, they were meh. Perhaps it is just me, but they just seemed kinda uninteresting.

Service was average - what id expect for that kind of place. Again, nothing amazing.

“We found this gem of a place by accident. Walking near our Airbnb while on a trip down from Canada to see our Flyers play. This is a local bar/restaurant but we were welcomed in and had a great time. Super friendly staff, service was fantastic. It was a great place to hangout. We will 100% add this place to our favourites and return when we are back down again for a game. We came mostly for drinks but one guy had their wings and said they were excellent.“

“We absolutely love the Westgate Pub. We recently had my daughter's first holy communion party in their private room and it was spectacular. Our server was great, the food was delicious, and the party decor and planning was beautiful and out of this world. Sue goes above and beyond with her decorations at Westgate. NOTE they close at 8:30 so if you have a 7:30 reservation don't plan to make a night of it because we were literally turning off the lights as we left but that was after 9:00. Ok, l am a classic carnivore, meaning, l am very much in to meat and potatos, and during a business trip in Phliadelphia l pass by a small yet attractive place, it look quiet but cozy, so l decided to give it a try...

...what a big surprise when l got the best ribeye and mashed potatos that l had in a long time, cooked to medium perfection, perfectly seasoned, and those mashed potatos, just like grandma's flavors...
